'All the works of science'? Dude,, you've no idea whats come before you. Every day scientific people tell people they'll never walk again and they fucking walk again, or they wont live six more months and they go years.. Remember when we sent a camera down to look at the Titanic a few years back? Scientific experts said that with the pressure and darkness you wont find any fish down there. They turn the camera on, fish swimming by.. Scientific advancement is great, but its not the end all-be all.

but at least science advances and admits when their wrong and science hasnt started pointless wars over little differences in what they think happened to some guy theres no real proof of existed. at least scientists are logical and can prove themself instead of going buy some book they found that suposedly proves everything they think is write when really it makes more since thats its just a bunch of bed time stories some guy wrote down to tell his kids, and scientists dont think some big guy with a white beard got bored one day and decided to make the earth and people. really? how much since does that make?

Third the New Testament mandates all Christians to reach out to other with the good news. aka accept them and make an effort to show them salvation.

Your RE teacher appears to be (more or less) an uninformed one... or he is purposefully weakening the inside structure of Christanity's cred. Personally, I was raised a Christian; however I have found it to be the most likely-to-be-true religion apart from evolution, which actually is a religion when u think about it. The math simply doesn't add up. I'm not using that as a metaphor; figure out the math necessary to form life that has the capacity for evolution, and you will find that the idea doesn't even work out on paper.

Saundazzz (09/24/2009) [-] Okay firstly I didn't make this picture, I found it on another site and found it to be funny and very true. Secondly I was brought up christian, went to a religious school and did my first communion, then got to a certain age where I realized it was ridiculous crap. I think it is fair to say that I made an informed desicion. Thanks though, I love religious arguments, I once asked an RE teacher why there are dinosaur bones all over the planet if god first created humans, he replied "God put them there".... I think I'd rather trust science thanks, less pretentious and full of shit :)
