how would they make a sequel? in the books they kill a little kid to open up the portal, in the movie he lives.

I sometimes really don`t understand the film industry.

They can knock out Die Hard films and Fast and Furious but they can`t do one sequel for a movie which I thought was good and I think a lot of people watched.

Did you read all the books? The second and third take a religious twist that caused a ********* . Unfortunately, this contributed to the cancelation of the second film. (Which i think is total ******** because i loved the books completely)

I`m pretty sure that the Golden Compass did pretty well. Better then the new Die Hard anyway.
