Here people, take this!
Finally, my own, self-built The Legend Of Zelda - Ocarina Of Time chest replica!
My brother found the blanc chest on a garage-sale for me, i burned in the hylian logo, then added the wooden bars, leather stripes, colour and the bullen nails.
Perfect storage for my game treasures!
Hope you guys enjoy!!

Nice try, OP...

Needs an automatic light switch that triggers whenever you open the chest.
#19 to #4 - johnpoppy ONLINE (09/29/2013) [-]
That wouldn't very hard. 1 reed switch, a magnet, a few LEDs and some wires would do the job.
#29 to #19 - pwnmissilereborn **User deleted account** (09/29/2013) [-]
Why the reed switch and the magnet? A push to break switch would have the same effect.
#76 to #29 - johnpoppy ONLINE (09/29/2013) [-]
Because reed switches are awesome, and I didn't yet find a practical use for them.

Can't argue with that.

Not only that but it could be wired to another switch which plays the "Dah, dah dah dah!" music when it's opened.
#27 to #13 - harrisonfordor (09/29/2013) [-]
No, no, NO, It would play the building suspense jingle and THEN it would be all "Dah, dah dah dah!". That way I could spend my time looking all intensely at it as others waited. Only to be greeted with an actual sword. A much more rewarding reaction.

Wait! What if the bottom of the chest is pressure-sensitive so the "Dah dadah dah DAH" comes only when you take the content out?

Zelda chest. Made in 'Murica.
#119 to #26 - anon (09/29/2013) [-]
You can tell it's in 'Murica because the sign is backwards.

It's funny because your misuse of the word "your" points to the fact that you are probably one of us as well.

that's funny because anybody that misuses the English language is American.

they're a nice series, would reccommend, maybe start with zelda 64 as that one was simply amazing. though the snes version is good too.
User avatar #72 to #70 - mutzaki (09/29/2013) [-]
More accurately, Ocarina of Time was amazing for its time, but hasn't really aged well, and is only really praised nowadays because of the nostalgia value.
User avatar #132 to #72 - jpthecursed (09/29/2013) [-]
I'd have to disagree with that, honestly.
Not because I'm an OoT fanatic, but because I played it for the first time at least ten years after it was released I only recently got into the series , and it completely blew me away. Even with all of it's hype, I was not disappointed at all.

That being said, and ten Zelda games later, I'd label The Wind Waker as the best Zelda game I've played.
