Its basically Bayonetta meets Pikmin meets Power Rangers, and if that doesn't sound like the raddest **** ever then I don't know what the **** to tell you. The game is ******* Wonderful .

Xbox and PS fans fighting
Glorious PC gamers
then there's nintendo fans, who are out of the fight altogether, and just enjoy good games.

As a wiiU owner, there is still a pretty big chance that the wiiU will fail and be pulled off the market much sooner than planned, but Nintendo is still in a great place overall even if that happens. The 3DS is practically printing money and they don't even have a Pokemon out for it yet. Anyone who thinks that they are worse off now than they were in the N64 or gamecube days clearly has a foggy memory at best. They are really in a much more stable position than Sony financially.

Plus I'm sure once Smash and a new Zelda are out for WiiU the sales will pick up. That Zelda bundle has already helped a lot.

Nintendo is in as I say "meh" status right now. Their stocks are going down, Wii U sales are down and even the original PSP is outselling it in units. Wii U is Nintendo's console failure at the moment. They still like to not like third-party support as much as other companies for some odd reason. But **** ***** , all that means nothing with the 2DS. The 2DS is a ******* marketing champ. $130 of cheap shenanigans for all the lil kiddies to play Pokemon X and Y on. It's meant for kids. The second November/Christmas rolls around, Nintendo will be pissing quarters like a drunk gambler. Nintendo knows the market no matter what you might think. It's just in the gamer's eyes they fail to represent. Or at least in most.
In other news Team Flare is the sexiest thing to happen to Pokemon.

My only issue with Nintendo is that for years they have been relying on really old titles (Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, etc) to stay relevant. Now that's not to say these titles are by any means bad, quite the opposite in fact. It's just that I would like to see some more innovation from them in terms of storytelling and game style. The constant reuse of only old characters is getting kind of stale.

Either rehashes or games that you can get on xbox or ps3 oorr pc, which will probably be a better experience anyways.

Oh boy, all the games I beat like 8 years ago.
No thanks.

I hope nintendo gets to a point where they will license their games out so we don't have to buy a ****** console or handheld to play them.

Isn't that what Sega did when the Dreamcast failed?

Dude, Nintendo is going ******* strong.
They won the first Console War by not playing the game.
I don't even own a wii and my old gameboy crapped out on me.
I'm going to get a 3DS, get my pokemon on.

If anyone needs proof that the Wii can produce gorgeous, gorgeous things, I would recommend Xenoblade. Only thing is that now, it's so rare, buying a used copy is $80. On discount.

With you, sir, I would have to respectfully disagree. I do agree the voice acting was bad on some parts. But I'm not too sure what you're trying to say on the other parts. I thought it was wonderful, and I thought part of the charm was the random high leveled (but easily avoidable) monsters that you would keep in your mind throughout the entire game, and at the end, you would obliterate with immense satisfaction. But we can go ahead and agree to disagree. It's a smart move to sell it on ebay if you didn't like it though. Seriously, I didn't know that anyone would buy a game for so much.

The only thing I'm upset about with Nintendo is Mario. I love Mario. He's like a best friend, even if he's a fictional video game hero.
It's like every new Mario game is the same. Nothing too new. Go through the levels, fight Bowser, save the princess. And every final boss recently has been a remake of the original fight in the first Mario Bros. Bowser's on a bridge, break the bridge, then he gets really big and breaks **** , that's all. It doesn't feel like they're trying anymore.
Though coming up with original and new ideas is really hard, but it's not THAT hard.
But still, that won't stop me from buying and playing any new Mario game that comes out. I'm still excited to get M&L Dream Team

Um... Nintendo's stock is getting crushed right now... so actually, yeah...

They're not "doomed," but they're going to need to get themselves out of tougher **** than Sony had to with the PS3's meh launch. Sony was at least doing fantastically right beforehand, Nintendo doesn't have the same blessing. But let's face it... Nintendo still knows what they're doing... Kinda... I think... Sorta... Dear god, don't kill of Zelda...

just got to say the wii had no support (i can't really talk about the wii u since i don't play it) but it had no support online and had a lot of less modes the pokemon game is going to be a lot like the one that came over 15 years ago (sure some new things but lets be honest not much innovation) Mario party what are they on like the 12th

technically WII still won the last console war(number of sales) I mean million more sales then the PS3? That is no small sum of money. Yes I do agree I enjoy my PS3 and it's games more then my WII, but the WII was no business failure whatsoever.

Manufacturer Platform Released Units sold
Sony PlayStation 2 2000 155 million
Sony PlayStation 1994 102.49 million
Nintendo Wii 2006 100.04 million
Sony PlayStation 3 2006 80.4 million
Microsoft Xbox 360 2005 78.2 million[6]

I'm getting a 3ds in like 3 weeks for my birthday, October 15, which is two days after gen 6 comes out. I can't wait to play that, animal crossing, and a link between worlds when it comes out.

Nintendo should just re-release the N64 and NES consoles and games. Maybe update them with an HDMI and high def graphics, but keep the original games.
User avatar #11 to #7 - indecisivejew (09/25/2013) [-]
They already do that. Its called the virtual console. Its been out for years.
User avatar #2 - crimsonjericho (09/25/2013) [+] (3 replies)
short of handhelds all the games run better on other consoles.

That's not true. WiiU holds a more steady framerate on most multiplats. And even if they were worse in terms of performance, many of them have unique features that use the gamepad to clear HUD off the screen and to make menu systems cleaner. Plus several developers have stated that their favorite versions of the games they are working on are the WiiU ones. That's true for Rayman, Splinter Cell, Watch Dogs, Batman and Deus Ex. Who would you trust more than the developers in regards to the best version?

And a lot of the third party support is exclusive, which you can't say too often about MS or Sony. Wonderful 101, Bayonetta 2, Project X, Sonic Lost World, and Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem are all third party and they are all exclusively on WiiU.

Oh please. Haha. Nintendo is doing very well. I actually think that, all things considered, between Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft, Nintendo is the one doing the best.
#35 - cupotruth (09/25/2013) [+] (10 replies)
Except a lot of them are remakes.

Or games available on every console.

Or Sonic, lets be honest he hasn't been doing so good in recent years.

And 3-D is a ******* gimmick, common everyone knows that.

But then again who gives a **** because now we got ******* cotton candy grapes.

Seriously, just bought that **** and it's awesome.
