I'm really tired of this whole gay rights crap. I don't mind gay people. They should be able to do whatever anyone else can do as far as I'm concerned. But I draw the line at trying to change the meaning of words because they don't suit you. You are not someone's parent unless they are your offspring. You will never be their parent and you just have to deal with that. What people need to realize is that, when taking care of a child, there are plenty of more important things than being a parent. You have to be a role model, a guardian, and a friend along with a million other things. The same can be said for marriage. It's just a word. Some people see it as a spiritual bond and some see it as a legal one, but it's not a change in the relationship. It's a symbol of what that relationship has become. I realize there are a bunch of legal issues on that front, but, as far as I'm concerned marriage shouldn't even be a part of any laws other than the ones held within religious groups.

So a couple that adopts a child aren't parents? They don't want to change the definition because the definition doesn't say it HAS to be a mother or father. The actual definition is be or act as a mother or father to someone. So how about YOU stop trying to change the definition. Oh wait the government is already with you as gay marriage is only legal in 13 states. TLR go **** yourself

Read the Book damn it!
#27 to #8 - mitchr (09/24/2013) [-]
Yeah, read the book.

There is one point where the Bible says anything about gay marriage.

There are THREE where it mentions (in a negative context) figs.
I think the result is clear.

Fiction Story:

Except God and Joseph didn't have a romantic and sexual relationship together.

Swear to Christ, every Gay Rights Activist that uses THIS as an argument pisses me off due to their ignorance.

God's considered to be a man, but he's kinda both, he's god, just known to be a man for power and masculinity.
#18 - Rascal (09/24/2013) [-]
