Why people hate WRX?
User avatar #25 to #18 - legodude (09/23/2013) [-]
nosey and are quite often driven dangerously by idiots, good car ruined. One guy has one down the street, he leaves for work at 3/4 in the morning, woken up by his ******* car!

Sabotage it.

Go for it in the evening before he wakes up and cut some important wires in the engine.
Or pour some random **** in the fuel container.

I thought of putting a potato up the exhaust but it would not even be close to a tight fit...

put sugar in the gas container.

Also the car would just stop. In 5 minutes he would see it and remove it and keep going.

Cause evo's are better.

So? One you must love one you must hate then?
User avatar #27 to #24 - fivebecomesfours (09/23/2013) [-]
the trannies on a wrx are really weak, stock interior quality is iffy, they come off the line looking and sounding like straight ricer, if you want a subaru rally car you should go with an evo. The only thing worth keeping is their engine, but you'll get a 4 boxer with any subie you buy. That a better explanation?

" if you want a subaru rally car you should go with an evo."
So if I want a Subaru, I shouldn't get a Subaru?

subaru RALLY car. Try re-reading before you try to be a smartass.

Yes! Now I hate those noisy cars too.
#29 to #28 - fivebecomesfours (09/23/2013) [-]
lol there's a good and bad kind of noise. I prefer the noise that's actually showing your engine preforming, not farting through a pipe. Just got a new exhaust on my g35, nice loud and deep I love it. Pic related, my car

It seems most of my mates drive 4 cylinder cars, my first car is a 4 litre straight 6, AUII falcon ute, a 2.5" straight exhaust sounds mean on that car
User avatar #43 to #33 - fivebecomesfours (09/23/2013) [-]
4 bangers are alright, reliable and efficient, not so powerful though. I wanna get an engine swap to an inline 6 ): the vq35 in my car(same engine as a 350z) works, but wont handle more as I modify it. Straight pipes ftw by the way, I'd do it but I like to listen to music while I drive
User avatar #44 to #43 - HypomanDan (09/23/2013) [-]
As do I, but even at volume 20 I still hear that sweet exhaust note
User avatar #47 to #44 - fivebecomesfours (09/23/2013) [-]
and yes, I know it's an automatic, it was actually cheaper for me to buy the car and do a full tranny swap to a manual. Doing that very soon, it has a manual option on the shifter though and its actually pretty spot on to a cyntrephical clutch
User avatar #48 to #47 - HypomanDan (09/24/2013) [-]
I know the feel, I was hoping for a manual, but when I found my ute it was the right price, in great condition, and loved all it's life. It is a column auto, so it took some getting used to, I haven't had to do much to keep it on the road. the only reason I upgraded the exhaust was the stock 2 1/4" had developed a hole in the resonator, I didn't see much point just putting in half a system so I just went to the next size up. I'm still saving for a hard tonneau, high flow cat, and extractors, but it all takes money to do
User avatar #49 to #48 - fivebecomesfours (09/24/2013) [-]
yeah, I actually had the same problem with my stock exhaust, went over a huge rock and it tore a hole in it. Went with a stillen dual wall tips high performance exhaust.... 1,200 dollars later... I put aside a lot of money for the car though it's a project of mine.
User avatar #50 to #49 - HypomanDan (09/24/2013) [-]
I didn't get anything so fancy, from the cat back, SS 2.5" with a sports muffler (it hardly muffles) $600
User avatar #46 to #44 - fivebecomesfours (09/23/2013) [-]
I know the feel, mine's pretty damn loud lol. More deep than anything though.

That was before I got new cats, intakes, and a new manifold, but it still sounded great
User avatar #51 to #46 - HypomanDan (09/24/2013) [-]
One of your mates was really suggesting you race his bike... the power to weight ratio would easily out do a car
User avatar #52 to #51 - fivebecomesfours (09/24/2013) [-]
Yeah I know lol, it's a dirtbike though. Granted yeah, any bike would outdo most cars on the road.
