To be honest I posted this cause a couple of days ago it was on the news that this guy got stabbed of his copy of GTA V. When really it was just a common mugger who potentially went for his watch and wallet and conveniently got this new copy of GTA V.. so the media blames it on GTA. Thats like saying Hitler only rose to power to only kill Jews.

Blaming the tv, radio, books, videogames and music has always been much easier for parents than actually taking a look in the mirror and admitting "Damn, I'm one ****** parent.". It can't be TOO hard to teach your kids the difference between reality and fiction as well as some morals. Right?

Have you ever tried teaching someone something?! It's hard work! You actually have to know the why's instead of just the hows. That expression "Those who can't do, teach"makes sense because usually the teachers are too into the potential of what they could do to accept their limitations, this they fail in action!

I have 2 nieces and 2 nephews. I can't count the hours I've babysitted them and told them why they should not do this / that / those / all 3 at the same time. So yeah, I know how hard it can get to teach a small child something, but parents usually have agreed willingly to take this responsibility by having a child AND keeping it.

Imagine living in a world where a guy posting on a website under the name "*************" makes more sense than all the debate forums in the media.

Yes, *************, you're right. The TV usually blames things because it's easy and it doesn't piss on their audience. They want to make money and telling parents they did a ****** job makes people uncomfortable and makes them change the channel.

Kids are stupid. I'm not being an internet cynic, they're literally the 2nd worst mix of idiotic and stubborn, so teaching them stuff like that actually IS pretty hard. I imagine blaming entertainment mediums is less "stop corrupting my kids" and more "stop making my difficult job difficult-er".

THAT BEING SAID, the fact that the people in question chose to be parents means that they read and agreed to life's EULA of parenting and they should be prepared enough to handle such a job without needing to rely on pointing fingers.

What I'm saying is: soccer mom anger is understandable, but that doesn't mean they're obligated to practice it as much as they do.... god, I hope that made sense.

You bring up a valid point, but you forget that probably 90% of these parents didn't agree to the EULA. They just scrolled to the bottom until the accept button lit up because they were too drunk and horny to actually read it all.

Nine months later, they have no idea wtf they're doing and are too stubborn to admit it.
Ten years later, same thing.
But then something magical happens.

Just kidding. There's nothing magical about terrible parents.

Yeah you're right.

What people don't seem to realise is that not every kid actually can be raised to be decent and respectful. They say "he played Grand Theft Auto for twelve hours a day for weeks leading up to the attack" like it's ******* normal for anybody to play a game for twelve hours a day. Anyone who lets their kid do that and ignores it is the problem, and to be honest, the kid might be beyond help by this stage already.

Some people are just psychopaths, blaming games solves nothing. If it weren't for games, they'd just find another violent thing to obsess over.

It's not just about violence , it's about every single thing that happens to kids these days. Parents would blame anything but themselves.
My son killed a guy, it's games.
My son is failing in school, it's the teachers.
My son is on drugs, it's his bad entourage.

Then they end up with a retarded child declaring that "They did everything they could to raise him good".

the shooting consists of locking on, holding fire and switching targets. so you hold down one button and move another.
having multiple characters means you cant connect with them as easily.
and the bullet time in the cars is just stupid

The lock on exist to help console gamers who use controllers find their targets quicker and with ease. Rockstar has been working on it for along time and improved it in most of their games for it got positive appeal. It also has levels of detection and can be completely turned off if so, if its that hence of realism you want from free control of aiming, well you can still get it by switching that feature off.
And by saying "the bullet time in the cars is just stupid" do you mean how one of the abilities is to slow down the car driving to help out in fast situations is bad? Honestly I think its a great idea for gta and the 3 charactesr having thier own abilities that were completely absent from earlier gta games all together is a great addon with nothing lost. Not to mention you don't even have to use those things if you for some reason don't like it. I wouldn't put the game down just because you don't enjoy certain features that dot actually even have to be used, and are generally liked by the majority of gamers. This is at least how I felt in response to your opinion, which I still understand is your opinion, but just understand that it may only apply to few people in this case since those issues are really...not issues at all.
