Some of the blame has to go to the gamestop employee. I mean, someone goes into the store and asks for Grand Theft Auto, they know very ****** well which one is meant

don't you pick up the game yourself and take it to the counter?

Mine was behind the counter, but then again it was being held for me. Alot of big box stores around me have them in cages, you have to have an employee get them for you.

Or alternatively, you could browse the store to find the game you want rather than relying on an overworked, underpaid employee to do it for you.

Well id imagine that they probably had a stand set up with gta 4 to get some people to buy it thinking they would want to play it first or replay it for posterity. Then the customer might have walked in, scanned the display and just assumed it was the right game since honestly most gta do look similar.

To be fair, we find a joy in ******* retarded people who can't be bothered to read. In fact the best part of our day is making ass hole customers look like idiots all while still doing our job. Did I mention I hate customers?

If you hate customers **** off from your job you piece of ****. You just ruin the day of people who just want to play a game, *******. You're paid for a reason.

Dude, he could have gotten it at a Walmart, who's employees think that Wii-U is a controller adaptor for the Wii, and think that the 3DS is a rebranded DS.

Not joking, the ones near me are like that. If they are that bad, do you honestly think they'd either know or give a **** about GTAV, or if a customer gets the wrong game?

Probably 70% of all games bought in the USA are not bought at Gamestop. Gamestop often has higher prices than other places.

If they had higher prices they wouldn't be in business anymore.

wider selection
employees that usually know at least something about games
ability to trade in used games (though at ****** prices, but the idea still remains)

They still need to equal non sale prices.
