I saw a heap of posts on twitter about it, Then went back to looking at RC's. If it comes to PC, Great, If it doesn't, Then I have the other half of my steam list, plus FC3 and a couple of Mount and Blade's to play, Doesn't worry me

Weee!

A girl gamer looks like a girl, like a boy gamer looks like a normal boy. Simple stuff.

Someone walking home from the release of GTA V in my town was stabbed and robbed of his game.

My dad is convinced the game's already having an influence on people
as in before they've even played it

Someone was stabbed in Blyth too. Then again, it doesn't take much to get stabbed here.

I went to the release of Battlefield 3 last year, it was pretty much nothing like this. There were tons of people, but they were all really nice and super chill. As soon as they opened the doors, every person in line started chanting "**** Call of Duty!". It was pretty ******* glorious.

My little brother was 'guy who came at exactly midnight' for GTA V (which was two nights ago for us). I told him he'd have to get there 3-4 hours early if he wanted a copy, he told me not to be an idiot because it was a MIDNIGHT release and girls didn't play GTA anyway (even though I beat all the missions for him on all our older copies while he hooned and ****** prostitutes). He came home at 1PM upset that the line was so big.

I remember going to the midnight release of Smash Bros. Brawl and there were people literally crying in line. Now I play videogames probably more than I should, but to me that's a bit ridiculous. Years later, something similar happened at the Skyrim release, only this time I had my female roommate with me. She wanted to go because she wanted to "see our culture". She then proceeded to whine the whole time.

TL;DR People frustrate me at times

I will never go to a midnight release for anything.
