I will never get this white privilege, check your privileges thing.

I mean, if someone would like to try to explain it, I'd be happy to listen... Might as well take time to learn why it's such ******** rather than just knowing it is.

Okay, let me put it simply. Are you: White, male, Christian, or thin/fit?

Yup... then I am the scum of the earth. I get that much... but how do they come up with all this **** ?

Because you've been born with genetic and socioeconomic advantages. And because muh equality, you must not use those advantages because it's not fair to *******

Well that's just silly.

I'd try and figure this whole business out with an actual feminist but... I don't think I've met a sane one that could actually explain it to me. That being all the sane feminists are the "behind the scene" ones who aren't with the whole "Argh! Kill all white male straight Christians!". You know, the ones that really only do want equality.

Damn... where's that one strip of the french feminist explaining the difference between modern day femnazi's and feminists.

I am feminist in that I believe in equal rights for women. At the same time, I don't believe in 'Male Privilege' or 'White Privilege.' But the idea behind them is that, as a male, or a white, or whatever, you have a certain advantage over people who are not white, or male, or whatever, and should feel guilty about exercising that advantage in any way shape or form. You get paid more at work because you're a man able to lift heavier things? Male privilege. You aren't instantly assumed to be a thief? White privilege. And apparently, 'Thin privilege' is being able to see people of your body type in movies and on TV. So when people claim that you're 'Privileged,' they're really just saying that they're jealous because they weren't born the same way you were.

TL;DR, Male Privilege doesn't actually exist.

Thank you!

I suppose that explanation makes sense.
