Loki transformed into a mare to distract the horse of a frost giant who had stolen thor's hammer. they did horsesex, horseki got pregnant, gave birth to Sleipnir

since most of this website is populated by **** smeared philistines, remember the eight legged horse of odin from the thor film? that.

Almost right: it wasn't the story of Mjolnir getting stolen. It's the story of how the walls of Valhalla is build. (but true he does lure away a horse, and gives birth to sleipner).

Loki transformed into a female horse to lure away the working horse of a being building a wall... it is a bit more complicated then that but it seams he let the horse he lured away mount him and make him pregnant... and then he gave birth to a 4 legged horse... which then Odin took as his own steed... so... yeah... disgusting...
User avatar #29 to #8 - christmouth (09/17/2013) [-]
He's right you know. The gods had made a bet with a Jottun/frost giant that he couldn't finish building a castle/stronghold before a specific date. At the end they saw that was he about to finish it before time, so they asked Loki do something. Loki then transformed himself into a mare and lured away the working horse, but the steed then mounted Loki, and Loki gave birth to Sleipnir, Odins 8 legged horse. The Aesir won the bet. I think this is how it went, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
User avatar #31 to #29 - worshippingbensho (09/17/2013) [-]
you are pretty much right, but i wanna add in a small detail... Loki was the one that lured the gods to accept the bet with the frost giant, and the gods found out and the punishment was as you said to lure away the horse... but to add... Loki transformed himself into a mare that was in... well... that time of month... like in heat and such... and ALLOWED it to mount him... so Loki is one big perv... now you will forever imagine the Loki from the avengers to have sex with a MALE horse.

A builder was helping build a wall for the Norse Gods. Loki being the trickster he is wanted to disrupt this, so he turned into a female horse and seduced the builders horse away to disrupt this. The horse raped Loki and Loki gave birth to a 6 legged horse and gave it to Odin as a present.

Story time!

One a beautiful day in Asgård, a frost giant come and said to the gods that he can build a wall around Asgård in three seasons in exchange for the beautiful goddes Freja for his wife. The gods thought this was impossible and Said "why not" and was 100% he would fail. The frost giant started building, but he had a friend that helped him that none of the gods expected. The horse stallion Svaðilfari helped him. After sometime he was nearly done with the wall and the gods started to get worried. So what did they do? They asked the troublemaker Loki for help! Loki then changed into a female horse, attracted Svaðilfari away from the wall and, well, mated. Then they got there beautiful child, a 8 legged horse named Sleipner (who now belongs to Odin)
The ice giant failed becouse he sas alone, and Thor chrushed his skull with his hammer.

The end.

(Btw Loki got alot of odd children)

Ok, Let me see if I can remember this.

His other kids are Fenir and Jourgamund (The World Snake), Right?

Spelling probably sucks.
User avatar #49 to #43 - xgreenmaidenx (09/17/2013) [-]
He had alot more.

This is his children:
Hel(the one who take care about all dead souls etc in her home that is named Hel too. She is "half beautiful" with her one side litteraly dead)
Fenrir* ( half right ;) )
Jörmungandr( the snake yes, i guess that's the English version of the name)
Nerfi and Nari ( wich he got with his wife...for once. One of them died later )
Sleipnir ( as i said)

Then he had alot more children without names, he was said to be the Mother/Father to the first troll after he ate a witch hearth( the nordic once, not the internet once. But who knows?) then he litteraly was a whore on earth for 8 years and gave birth to some human children too.
User avatar #51 to #49 - AbsentMinded (09/17/2013) [-]
Still going of memory here, but wasn't Loki tied up with the entrails of one of his' children, which was that?
User avatar #52 to #51 - xgreenmaidenx (09/17/2013) [-]
He was killed by his brother (by accident) who transformed into a wolf.
User avatar #56 to #52 - AbsentMinded (09/17/2013) [-]
so Fenrir ate Odin and Jormungandr killed Thor.

The main cause of death seems to be that Loki can't keep it in his trousers.

BTW, Sleipner is supposed to represent death.
That's why he's almost always depicted as a black horse with red eyes.
The 8 legs is supposed to represent the 8 legs of 4 coffin bearers.

Loki ****** a horse and gave birth to death itself.

i hate arabians and their close relatives
they act like cats, which is bad for a large animal
User avatar #25 to #23 - iamkagji ONLINE (09/17/2013) [-]
That's an Akhel-Teke, not an Arabian
#26 to #25 - hsawryt (09/17/2013) [-]
im sure theyre closely related they look very similar
User avatar #36 to #26 - Emers (09/17/2013) [-]
They're not related. Arabians come from the Arabian Peninsula, while the Akhel-Teke originated from Turkmenistan. They are both a different breed all together. And, no, Arabians do not act like cats. I've been around Arabians as well as Quarter Horses my whole life and they acted just the same, never had any problems with Arabians. A horses disposition depends on how it is trained to react to different things.
#41 to #36 - hsawryt (09/17/2013) [-]

i read this article on it, i dont know if its a reliable source but it suggests they might be related.
it seems you know your stuff about those breeds so i wont argue further about that.
both mine and your experiences with arabians vary, then.

User avatar #45 to #41 - Emers (09/17/2013) [-]
While there are a lot of similarities, every horse breed has originated from somewhere meaning that yes at one point Arabians and Akhel-Tekes could have been related but that would have been thousands of years ago. Todays Akhel-Tekes have had the Arabian blood bred out of them, same with other breeds that are around today. Arabians, Throughbreds, and other similar breeds are "hot" meaning they can/do have a lot of energy and be somewhat hot-headed. But like I said, training can help a lot with that so it can vary from horse to horse.
#48 to #45 - hsawryt (09/17/2013) [-]
i assumed by geographic location they were more closely related, ill do some research before i go acting like i know this stuff next time. Ive worked alot with calm thoroughbreds and thoroughbred crosses, but basically evrery arabian ive met was hot. It was a complete assumption that they were all that way. You seem like you know what youre talking about, do you work with horses?
User avatar #50 to #48 - Emers (09/17/2013) [-]
I work with horses on a daily basis, so yes. And like I said, a horses disposition can vary from horse to horse. I've dealt with calm and hot Thoroughbreds, Quarter Horses, Arabians, Mustangs, Warm-bloods. A lot of other breeds and each horse was a different experience than the last.
#53 to #50 - hsawryt (09/17/2013) [-]
which discipline? im a hunter and i still would never consider buying an arabian, they are just not my kind of animal. the horse in that photo is still gorgeous i didnt mean to sound like a pretentious asshole.
User avatar #54 to #53 - Emers (09/17/2013) [-]
Jumper, barrel racer, endurance racer, and sometimes eventing if I have the time for it.
#57 to #54 - hsawryt (09/17/2013) [-]
thats quite diverse.. i have always wanted to try another discipline but i feel like it might negatively affect my seat, or if i tried barrel racing with a hunter of mine he wouldnt want to be soft or supple anymore, you know? its not often you see serious horsepeople on a website like this im actually kind of excited to talk to someone who knows their stuff.
User avatar #62 to #57 - Emers (09/17/2013) [-]
I find that my seat doesn't get effected because I've been trained in multiple disciplines. I got bored sticking with just one discipline so I started training for multiple. And I agree, I've only ever met one other person on here.
#65 to #62 - hsawryt (09/17/2013) [-]
ive been into mostly the hunters and dabbled with the jumpers on the lower levels. if i ever tried another discipline, i dont think i would ever lose my passion for the hunters. my sister will be attending a clinic with george morris next weekend ive been giving her lessons getting her tb ready for it have you looked into hunters?
User avatar #66 to #65 - Emers (09/17/2013) [-]
No offense to you, but I find hunters boring. I tried it once and it just wasn't for me. I enjoy more fast paced disciplines. My favorite at the moment is endurance, barrel being second and jumper third. I really enjoy cross country, and dressage sometimes gets boring too.
#67 to #66 - hsawryt (09/17/2013) [-]
i agree about the boring part, on the lower levels. but there is something about being in complete harmony with a horse cantering at a consistent pace around the arena while they jump 3'3 and remain intent to every signal. in my opinion, beginner riders should always begin with the hunters to establish an effective and consistent seat before they advance to more high paced disciplines. I would like to eventually try my hunter in the higher jumpers but i dont think we're there yet. As for barrel racing and endurance, those are entirely out of my zone of experience, i feel like i would be starting over if i tried either one lol
User avatar #71 to #67 - Emers (09/17/2013) [-]
Yeah, each discipline is very different but it's fun to keep up with them all.
