Love how no one is willing to blame the idiots who keep electing these old men.

Its not the people who actually votes the president in... Electoral College i believe does it. We had times where the popular vote (thats us) didn't win because its the electoral college's vote that really matters.

Father: You're gonna make the world safe for democracy!
Joe: What is democracy?
Father: Well it's never bright clear on myself. Like any other kind government it's got something to do with young men killing each other I believe.

Source is Johnny Got His Gun. The movie/book on which One by Metallica was based off of.

I remember reading somewhere that replacing the governments and country leaders with younger people would result with the world becoming a better place with less wars, because those younger people haven't lived at a time where they have started to grow a grudge. All those grumpy old politicians have lived during the previous wars so its buried in their minds and they will not let them go.

Ok i hope i wrote that right because im sooo tired.

"Blast off, it's party time, and we don't live in a fascist nation. Blast off, it's party time, and where the fuck are you?"

Always kind of thought this meant everyone is going to war, and we are free to choose, but then you get looked down upon if you choose not to fight.
