>Work hard in order to appear Tough 'n Gruff
>Feel bad when people protect their children against what appears to be a threat

This whole scenario reminds me of that Dave Chappelle skit that you Funnyjunkers seem to like so much.
"You might not be a whore, but you are wearing the uniform" or something like that.

The internet's made me so cynical that I can't shake the thought that some lonely Tumblr chick snapped this guy's photo and wrote that whole thing herself.

I've been here too long...

>Try to help by going up to the kid and helping them find parents
>Surprisingly didn't take too long
>Little boy goes with parents
>Parents look at me as if trying to abduct their kid
>They yell at me for reason *******

There is actually a group of like, 10 biker dudes that always hang outside one of the Tim Hortons near my house, and they're really intimidating looking. But I had a conversation with them once, and they're pretty nice dudes.

Most bikers I know are nicer than most "proper people".

Don't try to appear so tough if you don't want people to be wary of you. I'm not saying bikers are bad people or anything, but it isn't ridiculous to tell your daughter not to talk to huge, tattooed, bearded men on bikes.

Dude, they're CANADIAN Bikers. They probably send kids back on their way with candy, without molesting them even a little bit.
User avatar #31 - Crusader (09/16/2013) [+] (16 replies)
Oh no, don't teach your daughter to avoid dangerous looking people because some of them aren't mean, that's just bad parenting.

I like bikers, I know bikers, I know not all are dangerous, but statistically speaking a member of an MC is more likely to to be dangerous, it's like telling your kid not to talk to the guy with a blue bandanna hanging out of his back pocket

Well looky at what I found:
Also, the story is made up. I don't know where though, can't find the original.

Sorry, but bikers have a strong stigma of being tough guys because many of them ARE tough guys... You can ride and enjoy motorcycles without dressing up like a stereotypical biker. The only reasons why you would look the part are either because you are a stereotypical biker or because you want people to think you're a stereotypical biker. If he wants to be treated like a decent human being by complete strangers then he's going to have to dress like a decent human being.

Ohh... there was this one thing everyone taught me as a kid that would end this discussion so easily... oh **** ... ummm, oh right! Maybe you've heard it before "Don't judge a book by its cover."
You are a massive faggot.
Leave.

What's wrong with bikers? We get loads of them gathering at a pub near my place but nobody has anything against them. Is there some kind of hatred for them in the States?
#65 - redrock (09/16/2013) [+] (34 replies)
I ride a motorcycle and wouldn't be offended if I was judged by a parent on the street.

People aren't supposed to be able to tell your entire ******* backstory by first glance. I don't care what you're really like, if you're a scraggly looking stranger it's probably in those parents' interest to teach the kid to stay away.
User avatar #109 to #65 - ultimatebadass (09/16/2013) [-]
The kid doesn't need to have a ******* conversation with him, It's simply just the idea of not judging a book by it's cover, we all do it but you shouldn't make a point of saying something like that woman said to him either
User avatar #95 - ellwood (09/16/2013) [-]
to be fair, i wouldn't let my kid talk to somebody who looks like that either. The person may be the best person in the world, but how does one choose who is and isn't what they look like? i'm not saying it's right. i'm just saying that if you want people to view you a certain way, then try to look the part.

When I get old, I've already decided Im joining a bike gang.
