Ok, I've seen two of these in the past five minutes, and clearly whoever made this did not watch the show. When he started cooking he had no intention of getting treatment, he had every intention of dying, he just wanted to leave his family with some money (or so at least i recall?)

sometimes i feel like people who make this really just want to whine about our medical system, rather than actually apply their reasoning skills to something...or even watch the show.

It's incurable though. So treatment or otherwise he shouldn't be too happy

Unfortunately, he had to wait and died before he could receive treatment.

I never understood this, he's a teacher, right? Right. That means he is a state employe, all teachers, for the most part, get health care, because of their local union. Also, why the fuck doesn't he have his own insurance? His son is disabled, isn't that a good enough reason to buy some in case something bad happens to him? I mean, I love breaking bad, but seriously, why was this overlooked? Hell, even some states provide basic health care, Wisconsin has decent health care that will pay for cancer treatments, and the costs to have your family covered are at a level where most people can easily pay for it.

LOL
This is exactly why the most serious of medical cases are transported to America for treatment because the doctors in other countries are lousy and underpaid.

Paying for the treatment was not a problem, his rich friend Elliott offered to do it for him, but he didn't want to accept help from anyone. All he wanted to do was be able to pay for his kids future and then die in peace. And yes, we have to to pay for our healthcare in America, but its still better than having to wait 3 hours to see a mediocre, underpaid doctor. Take a step back and really look at your medical system before you decide to judge ours.
