Man, this place looks expensive. I feel like I'm wasting a fortune just standing here.

I thumb you up for wanting to find the episode yourself and enjoy the beautiful wonder that The Simpsons used to hold so dear to our youthful hearts back in the day.

Can't blame you for being born late.

There is no need for you to be upset.

Let us transcend any aggression and unite with a long and draining battle of Spider-Man?

ASIANS CAN ACTUALLY READ MINDS!!!!!!!!!!!!
They can hear, and see what you're visually thinking. This is the absolute complete truth!!!!!

Asians hide their mind reading abilities by a lot of them having completely expressionless faces so they don't accidentally show facial expressions when people think things they don't like, find funny, astonishing, etc, and Asians segregate so their not nearly as susceptible to that happening.
Asians also segregate, and are untalkative to avoid accidentally saying things that are similar to what people are thinking and going to say.

Try thinking, and visually picturing things that are as wild as you can when you are around Asians, and look for Asians who give people dirty/particular looks for what appears to be for completely no reason.

PLEASE SPREAD THE MESSAGE!!!!! THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW THIS!!!!!

I think the floor is supposed a visual representation of Einstein's discovery that mass and energy can bend space itself. Also known as... gravity! This is a choppy explanation of the concept, but basically, because the Sun, Earth, etc. are so massive, they bend the space around them, which is why things closer to them are more attracted to them .

Actually I am almost positive this is a representation of Bump mapping. This is a technique used in video games and other media that makes a flat surface look detailed without making it 3D.

Check this out to learn more.

I'm gonna go ahead and say you're right on this one seeing as it's a video game store ;)

Still it is pretty cool. Most people might not appreciate this.

October 12th, 2013, one minute before opening hour.

The games are released this day. Outside stands fans of all sizes and levels of interest. Some are obsessed, greasy basement dwellers, and some are little kids with their mothers, being pushed back by the aforementioned basement dwellers. The smell of sweat from the excitement fills the immediate air around the crowd, almost creating a miasma.

30 seconds left. The basement dwellers in front ready their stances. Some are even wearing protective gear. The "casuals", as they're called by the people in the front, are happily chatting with each other, already planning out trades.

5, 4, 3, 2, 1... The doors open. Basement dwellers are rushing in like a wild horde of greasy elephants. They all suddenly make note of the floor, and one by one, the mighty fatties fall down. The floor is covered in a morbidly obese carpet, leaving the casuals to calmly walk over them and pick up their copies.

For hours they lay there, unable to get up. Some even try to throw Poké Balls at them, thinking they've come across a Horde Encounter of Snorlax. Eventually they get up on their feet. The store is nearing closing time, and the lard carriers realize that all copies are have been bought. They walk back to their respective basements, crying. The shame of having to pick up their game on the day after release causes a few to commit suicide.

That's a pretty cool store.

The problem is that it only works from one specific perspective.
#37 to #24 - jackassalope (09/13/2013) [-]
I'm not so sure. While moving it would be obvious it was flat, but I think each different perspective would have its own unique topological interpretation. Not 100% sure, but i know for a fact there would be at least more than one angle that would make visual sense.

Yea except this would only work at that specific spot. Anywhere else it just looks like a random assortment of lines
User avatar #27 to #26 - gammajk (09/13/2013) [-]
Except it probably actually works everywhere. Notice how there are flat bits? Those probably look like dents if you stand elsewhere.

That only matters in perspective paintings. This sort of thing works from any direction.

And even if it were dependent on where you are standing... everyone comes in through the front door dude.
