Alot of the money that the government pays for these things with goes into researching new technology, its much easier to keep new developments quiet if they buy stuff at an inflated cost rather than going through endless red tape and bureaucracy in order to give companies research grants.

Targeting and guiding tech as well as stabilization and some other ********. While that might make add up to quite a bit of money, I don't think the missile itself costs 80, 000 dollars. Maybe both the launcher and the missile cost that much, but even still...

Javelin ($80 000), fired by (in this case) American Soldier, who doesn't make $80k a year.

That Javelin, $80 000, is fired at someone who probably herds goats for a living, until he was recruited. Geezer probably lives in a tent as well. Probably earns a couple dollars a day. IE, never going to make that much money.

How can i ever learn unless I ask. I'm not giving a bigoted ignorant opinion about it whatsoever. I'm asking that you explain it. What I do understand is that you are an ignorant human who can never accept that they are wrong. Who will continue to find points to argue where there are none. I'm merely asking that you explain your reasoning. This will result in one of two outcomes 1. You will not give a satisfactory explanation resulting in proving my point (that you are an ignorant person who gives rash opinions on topics he doesnt understand) 2. you will actually prove your point and I will have learned something from it.

I like firing the M32. cant take out a tank with it but you can **** someone's world up and put a 40mm HEDP round in a window easy at 200 meters. HEDP rounds are about 8 dollars a pop too. 6 shots as fast as you can pull the trigger

pretty sure 44 mm grenades cost a lot more then 8 bucks. You ever actually use that thing in country, either? 203 overall is faster, as reloading the M32 takes a long ass time, and if you ever see enough afghanis that you can actually use 6 grenades on em at once, you've wandered into some serious ****.
Also, M32 is heavy and awkward as balls to carry as extra gear.

Would've been fun to have gotten to fire a M32 instead of a 203, though.
