So there was some doubt about one of the points in my last post. Well, here are 34 published studies that prove cannabis cures cancers of all kinds. This is not about getting high, it's about providing the best medical treatment possible for the sick and suffering.

The only thing I thought I cured was cluttered food in your fridge

weed cures cancer

so bob marley and steve jobs smoking weed like veterans yet still dying of cancer means they were smoking bad **** ?

Read it up. There's a TON more **** in cannabis than just THC. We humans naturally manufacture our own beneficial cannabinoids. And smoking is not really the best way to take your medicine.

well whats the best way to get the benefits of weed?
oils?
User avatar #5 to #3 - doctorgolgo (09/08/2013) [-]
Oils and vaporized, probably. Eating the raw material would be another (less effective) way. Burning is pretty detrimental to the healing cannabinoids.

so effectively we get to tell stoners "youre doing it wrong"
smoking weed is the wrong way

It's the right way if you want to get high. Really, this is an incredibly versatile plant.
User avatar #9 to #8 - konradkurze (09/08/2013) [-]
well i still think it should only be used for practical reasons like medicinal or anti-depressant....
still against random recreational use until stoners learn theres just some places you dont smoke it
User avatar #10 to #9 - doctorgolgo (09/08/2013) [-]
Sure, just like there are some places you don't consume alcohol. Drink and smoke responsibly, folks.
User avatar #11 to #10 - konradkurze (09/09/2013) [-]
now try teaching responsibility in a modern culture where people's reaction is more " **** you its my choice"
User avatar #12 to #11 - doctorgolgo (09/09/2013) [-]
Yep, but again same as alcohol. Regulate, tax, etc. but leave the medical applications intact for those what need 'em.

well it has been proven weed isnt the gateway drug, alcohol IS

but still, it would take a ******** of work to push human morals back a couple decades to when people were more responsible for their actions and moderated things and were more mindful of where they did things

if people want to smoke weed or drink, they have to control themselves, you dont smoke/drink in public, you dont smoke/drink on other peoples property without their permission, and if you do stupid **** while under the influence you still get punished for willingly choosing to abuse the stuff enough to lose control of yourself

Agreed with all of that. Washington and Colorado states also agree. And while I'm all for the complete legalization of weed, it's the medical implications that have me the most interested in this issue. So much benefit for so little effort. And the chance to take the ACS down a peg or two is an added bonus.

well weed is a proven painkiller that doesnt rot your internal organs like pharmaceuticals do, thats one reason why its been held back for that purpose, the drug corporations would lose money

plus as a means to fight cancer, it would drop the number of cancer patients, number of people needing chemo and painkillers, etc, thus the 'medical' institutions would lose alot

i think one of the reasons the governments decriminalizing it for medical reasons is that more and more people are saying **** you to the pharmaceutical corporations and using weed, and cops are too busy chasing other problems to round up weed users to stop them, so with so many pro-weed advocates they have no choice but decrim it

proof that even in a fascist dictatorship like obamaland, the citizens CAN get majority power to change usa

+1 to your last comment and I'm hoping for my kids' sakes that it does turn out like that. USA's too damned big to be run effectively by a central government. States should be mandating most of the local rules and regs to fit the majority of their population. Don't like it? Drive about an hour and get yourself under some laws that fit your own lifestyle. Yeah... in a perfect world, I guess.

well seriously, most of the US states are bigger than some countries

texas can stand alone, being the biggest
the coastal states get enough tourism and shipping to survive on their own, and some of the central states make enough off farming to live

all the minor states can just tag onto the larger ones and be cooperative to survive or just melt the borders and make larger single states from smaller ones

last year when i heard a rumor of many us states threatening to leave usa and go independant, i was on my knees shouting " ******* yes"
wish it followed through

Reminds me... we always used to say that one day they'd cut Alaska in half and Texas would become the third largest state in the Union. Heh heh heh.
