Same sex marriage is it's own thing.

But healthcare....yeah, no.
I completely severed the tendon in my thumb, and within hours a hand surgeon was called and by 9:00am the next morning I was on my way home from surgery.

I sincerely ******* doubt that in Canada I would've gotten a hand surgeon within 10 hours. If we had social healthcare, we would have to pay much higher taxes for something that my family wouldn't even ******* use, and my thumb would probably be unusable right now.

Also, Americans goto hospitals for the stupidest **** . Your baby coughed? Goto emergency room. Knee hurts? Goto the emergency room. My dad said that one time a lady came in after she got a ******* PAPERCUT. I **** you not, a papercut. Like from a book. Small papercut. Went to the hospital.

Now imagine if everything was "free". And we'd be paying out the ass for it.

dont forget that most of the countries that have so much less citizens have even less ressources and wealth and still are able to deal with those problems.
the usa are (or were) the wealthiest country in the world and were not able to solve problems for their citizens that way smaller and way poorer nations were able to solve.

"we would have to pay much higher taxes..."

Not if we didn't involved ourselves in foreign wars that cost $10 billion a month.

Just saying dude, Iraq and Afghanistan were ******* expensive.

What? If you were in danger of doing critical damage to your thumb, then you would have gotten surgery withing a day, two at most in most places. A friend of mine ****** up the tendons in his knee playing football, and he had surgery the next day, and we live in a small town in southeastern Ontario, with a relatively small hospital. The "waiting forever" thing is ******** . If you need surgery, you'll get your ******* surgery.

Except for the fact that tons of Americans already have to wait an eternity for medical treatments, and you're already paying out the ass for others' medical expenses because of the completely retarded way our privatized system works.
User avatar #113 to #23 - drewbridge (09/09/2013) [-]
You have to wait longer in canada, and higher taxes are apart of it. Both are already true. 85% of Americans are covered already. I don't want another 15-20% of our income gone to the government.

And the thing is, America already has social healthcare programs. There is no need, Americans are simply ******* retarded.

User avatar #102 to #43 - drewbridge (09/09/2013) [-]
I'm not saying that ******* , countries with only TEN PERCENT, 10%, 1/10th the population, are trying to give advice to a superpower.

Thing's don't scale like that. Pay attention, sperg.
User avatar #103 to #102 - kiratheunholy ONLINE (09/09/2013) [-]
"superpower" again buddy. O.K.

Also you seem to have anger/superiority issues. You should get those worked out boy.
User avatar #104 to #103 - drewbridge (09/09/2013) [-]
I'd say the country with the factually largest economy and largest military would likely be a superpower ya ******** . Russia, China, India...

You should probably get the whole being a ******* retard thing checked out.

He's not saying that. He's saying that a country that can solve issues with only 10% of a countries population they can't really give advice on how to solve the others problem.
#56 to #50 - kanedam (09/08/2013) [-]
i know you're just trying to explain what he meant.
but one can't ignore that the usa have much more ressources than most of these countries and still cant solve their trouble.
User avatar #60 to #56 - zerpderp (09/08/2013) [-]
but most countries are not America where the government can get away with rolling the constitution up and smoking it while they dick around and the people care more about the life of a celebrity who can hide a football in her vag
User avatar #53 to #50 - kiratheunholy ONLINE (09/08/2013) [-]
Seems like he has a superiority complex though honestly. The way he talks about it doesn't seem to be in a nice and informing tone as you suggest.
User avatar #54 to #53 - uzbekistan (09/08/2013) [-]
I agree. He sounds like an asshole.
