Actually I won on the first time, I had a pretty good dungeon layout. Second playthrough was a real ballbuster.

"on the first time"
Do you mean with your first life? Or just your first few hours of playing?
Or what?
I thumbed you up again, to zero, but **** me, you kinda deserve down thumbs for either being an arrogant little cunt, or simply failing to explain what "first time" means.

The first life. I'm sorry if I missed some change to the dictionary that changed the definition of first.

The first life seems unlikely. I'm a fairly hardcore metroidvania fan, and I took about thirty lives, mostly due to actually exploring the castle.

However, if you did it as you claim (clearly its not impossible, i'm not fool) well done you.

Well as I said I had a good dungeon generated. Nothing impossible to traverse. I avoided the fairy chests and other goodies and took little to no chances while fighting or exploring. But **** didn't get fun till I got the Beastality I believe that was the name of it upgrade and basically flew around shooting fire and **** . Time Stop ability was OP as hell however.

I still don't have that, and i've beaten the game once.

Fair enough though, you had a very different playstyle to me.

Why would you buy a new game, and spend your time avoiding special chests?

I avoided the fairy chests because most the rooms were either dodge an unholy amount of fire balls or required double jump. I believe however my favorite class was the Miner Class with full vamp gear, while getting that disease that exchanges your health with your mana bar. Its even better if you get a sage or mage which ever one had uber high mana.

Nah, I took a load of lives too. Its difficult until you make fighting bosses your aim.

Start by buying the architect, and then once you find a boss room and die on the boss, using your next life lock the castle, and warp to the boss, die, and repeat.

That way you learn the patterns, and can beat them easier.

Also equipping grace runes really makes a difference to the difficulty, depending what level (how much money you've spent) you are.
