I hear the United States of America is have a civil war. Perhaps we may choose a side to fight for and bargain for some land as war debt.

That's what happens to most men. At first their muscles are big and buff but once they get more mature and older their muscles shrink and belly grows and... damn.... that makes no sense...

If it weren't for countries like England and Ireland colonizing, then the rest of world world would still be a third world, native mess that never developed.

The fact that they don't own Canada, USA, India, or Australia anymore is irrelevant, of course it makes more sense (after years of development) for a colony to become their own country once it can stand on its own two feet. That's how **** works, it's like a child becoming an adult. Until it can feed, clothe, **** , and make its own money, it's basically 100% property of the parent.

Austria and Bohemia should be parts of Germany if this is from 1939.

Early 1939, Austria and Bohemia weren't added until March right?
User avatar #36 to #33 - neznanc **User deleted account** (09/08/2013) [-]
Austria was annexed in 1938. The same year it was also agreed that Germany can take Sudetenland, part of Czechoslovakia (Munich agreement). After the coup in Slovakia in early 1939, Hitler ordered full occupation of the rest of Bohemia and Moravia. Slovakia then became "independed" as a german satellite.

actually, the irish free state was declared in 1921, and then in 1932 the irish republic formed, southern ireland shouldn't be under the brittish empire in this picture

not irish, but we just learned about it in english class yesterday.
User avatar #34 to #24 - phsycokiller (09/08/2013) [-]

Isn't Australia still in their empire or is it something similar?
User avatar #10 to #9 - turkeyslapper ONLINE (09/07/2013) [-]
Yep we are part of the commonwealth so the british queen is our queen but she's just a figurehead, she doesn't control everything.

Lots of other countries are in the commonwealth so the bottom part of the pic is wrong.
#12 to #10 - transgendered (09/07/2013) [-]
Well the pic is showing the Great British Empire, not the commonwealth. Australia isnt in the Empire any more.
User avatar #13 to #12 - turkeyslapper ONLINE (09/07/2013) [-]
Yeh that makes sense. We couldn't stay a part of the empire forever we needed our own government and identity because Britain is so far away.

If Napoleon hadn't collapsed the Holy Roman Empire, Germany would never have been born and Prussia woudl still be a country.
Napoleon was a dick.
