That guy's right.

Speaking most of a sentence in another language is such a faux pas.

Depends on how you say it honestly.
Nombre in French and Spanish sounds different.
I speak Spanish and took a French class for a while.
User avatar #36 to #30 - Jenisist (09/04/2013) [-]
True.
Nombre in Spanish is like nom-breh
While in French, nombre is like nom-bruh

I'm sure you know that, but I thought I'd delineate more for others.

Actually "nombre" has a meaning in french. The word for number is numéro.
#25 to #22 - anon (09/04/2013) [-]
"Actually 'nombre' has a meaning in French" It already says that and it gives a direct word "Number"
User avatar #27 to #25 - itrinx (09/04/2013) [-]
No, what i meant is that Nombre and Numéro are two different words in the French language.

Llamo is name, nombre is number.
Me llamo es deadfeds, me nombre del commento es 2.
User avatar #14 to #2 - commontroll (09/03/2013) [-]
Llamo translates to "I call myself/I am called." Dumbass.
User avatar #41 to #14 - tenthdivine (09/04/2013) [-]
"Llamo" translates to "I call."

"Me llamo" translates to "I call myself."

"Soy llamado" translates to "I am called"

nombre is name if it stands as a single word (e.g ontop of a test)
Me llamo = my name is
#9 to #2 - arthurfj (09/03/2013) [-]
Also, 'me llamo___' is adequate. It means 'I call myself'. You said 'I call myself is ___'.

#5 to #2 - mtu (09/03/2013) [-]
Llamar is the verb 'to call' in spanish, Llamo being the 'Yo' form of the verb. Which used in the context of the name would be how someone introduces themselves (literal translation being something like "I am called Mtu").

Nombre means name in spanish, numero is number.

It's been a while since i've taken spanish so someone else might have a better explanation.

Dude that's not even close, but atleast you tried which is better than most.
"I call myself is deadfed, my name of comment is 2" dayum.

User avatar #6 to #2 - waluigibrah (09/03/2013) [-]
Yeah... Llamar is the verb "to call," and when you say "me llamo," you are saying "I call myself." Nombre is the noun for name, and numero is the noun for number. And the word for "my" is "mi," not "me."
#10 to #2 - riefenstahl (09/03/2013) [-]
Dude I know you didn't do it on purpose, but you accidentaly the Spanish language.
User avatar #4 to #2 - flyingoat (09/03/2013) [-]
You just said "I'm named is deadfeds, name me of the commento it is 2"
I hope you are proud of your stupidity
User avatar #32 to #4 - herpaderderp (09/04/2013) [-]
Actually, "llamar" means "to call"
He literally says "I am called is deadfeds, me (not used that way) name of the comment is 2"

Throw away baby.

Although the sign she used for throw away is typically what you teach kids. You generally would use garbage or something similar to that. I assume she used it for the sake of the joke.

Technically, it's supposed to be "abortion," so maybe not something you'd teach kids.

In ASL you often combine multiple signs to use as names of things like that.
