White fish and olive oil sound like a simple and healthy combination.

i used to bake some tilapia with potatoes and onions and douse them in olive oil. Tasted great

That sounds delicious. I like to take salmon and cover it with cheese and olive oil.

Sounds really good, I love salmon. What kind of cheese?

This is going to sound strange, but goat cheese tastes really good when you melt it on salmon. I also forgot that I throw in shallots whenever I can.

Not strange at all for some reason i was expecting that or spanish cheese. I've never tried cheese on fish (other than coney islands, mcdonalds, bk), but that sounds like something i'd like to try out. Thanks

:o A conversation about cooking! Personally, my favorite dish I have ever made is I cut bacon strips into bits and threw them in a pan and let them sit for a bit, them added some frozen potato/red&green pepper mix and steamed it for a bit, then through some macaroni and cheese in the microwave, added shrimp, cheddar cheese and Tabasco sauce to the potatoes, bacon and peppers and then mixed all that in with the mac n cheese. Extremely unhealthy but it was amazing....

You ever try a Prairie Oyster?

Never heard of it, seafood isn't all that popular since I live in central Virginia and the best stuff we get is Blue Crab.

It's not seafood. Break an egg and get rid of the whites by juggling it in the two halves of the shell. Drop it in a drink glass. Then, take tobasco sauce, black pepper, and salt and throw it on top. Then, pour whiskey or vodka in without breaking the egg yolk.

btw, blue crab is delicious. I just wanted to steer away from the sort of disgusting microwave spawn that you were talking about.

That microwave spawn was an inspiration from Epic Meal Time.... mistakes were made.

Moving away from that my favorite thing to do with eggs is take a glass and press the open end down on a slice of bread and pull the glass-bread circle out and then put the piece of bread on a pan and drop the egg in the middle of the circle. Add some salt and pepper, maybe some tobasco if I feel like it, and I toast the circles and add butter and use them to dunk in the yolk.
