Think about it. It's cheaper than a 3DS, and it's perfect for those of us who want the games without 3D. Also, no dealing with broken hinges.

It's basically a win-win, It's a much cheaper DS system that can actually play 3DS games, and nintendo gets to sell off all the unused parts they've accumulated.

A poor explanation on my part. Nothing's wrong with 3D, I meant that it's perfect for those of us who don't care about 3D. It was made for kids, but it's also not a bad alternative for those who don't care for 3D and don't want to spend as much money on a 3DS when they don't care about 3D so they can still play the games.
