Sees somebody use your instead of you're.

Doesn't give a damn because he knows what they mean and is aware that they were probably just being human being and thinking of what they were typing faster than they were able to type it, making them very typo prone.

You people need to read John Dies at the End. -Honestly one of my favorite books- For any of you that have seen the movie, and only the movie, let me just say that the book is way better and incredibly different and not to base your decision on that alone.
#59 to #58 - subversive (08/29/2013) [-]
Agreed. Great Book. There is an amazing sequel as well.
User avatar #60 to #59 - mushizombie (08/29/2013) [-]
The sequel is 'This Book is Full of Spiders'. Did you read it by chance?
#62 to #60 - subversive (08/29/2013) [-]
Yup. Read "John" last winter and the sequel earlier this summer.
User avatar #63 to #62 - mushizombie (08/29/2013) [-]
What was your take on the second, if you don't mind me asking?
#64 to #63 - subversive (08/29/2013) [-]
Thought it was an improvement on the first. When I heard there was a sequel I was scared that it was too good to be true but was pleasantly surprised.
User avatar #67 to #64 - mushizombie (08/29/2013) [-]
Personally, I wasn't as happy with it. It was more action than craziness but it was still a great read
#68 to #67 - subversive (08/29/2013) [-]
I get what you are saying and to an extent I felt the same way while reading it but after I realized that it was a sequel and therefore had to be different. Too much of the same thing doesn't allow the story to develop. Having said that the first book was a masterpiece.
#69 to #68 - mushizombie (08/29/2013) [-]
Agreed! The author had posted a rough draft of the first few chapters of the sequel before it was published- it was ******* amazing! Unfortunately, most of it was scraped and many things changed when it was edited, but the book still ended up being ******* great itself! I'm glad to have found someone who has read them both lol sorry to have bugged you! I got carried away!

But can you use them all in only one sentence?
User avatar #47 to #46 - imakejewburgers (08/29/2013) [-]
I can use your, you're, then, than, their, there, and they're in only one sentence.
User avatar #48 to #47 - onebadbassoonist (08/29/2013) [-]
In one that doesn't list them though? Sadly there probably aren't very many people online that could do that...

They're looking for their apples over there near where you're eating your orange so that they can then eat said apples rather than have to find something else. It doesn't sound particularly good, but It uses them all.
User avatar #51 to #50 - onebadbassoonist (08/29/2013) [-]
Sounds pretty good, and it's definitely better than aludin's sentence.

You're a ****** with your little ****** dildos, I bet they're in your ass right now, just sitting there in their rightful place, and after you do that then you should kill yourself because I would rather see that than you.

Makes witty remark about grammar.

Doesn't know when to use a colon instead of a comma.
User avatar #32 to #30 - jasonvgrace ONLINE (08/29/2013) [-]
To be fair though using a comma in that situation isn't wrong, it's just less right than a colon.
User avatar #33 to #32 - kwax (08/29/2013) [-]
Actually, a colon is used to introduce a list.
You can only use a comma if the introduction to the list is complete.
e.g. OP only does two things, suck cock, and suck cock.
User avatar #39 to #33 - jasonvgrace ONLINE (08/29/2013) [-]
Hmm, but when you really think about it that comma doesn't even lead up to a list does it, It leads up to a quote. The idea is that whatever is in the quotation marks will be what is asked of students from the university. Thus if there was going to be a colon it would be after "Use"
User avatar #41 to #39 - kwax (08/29/2013) [-]
You are correct about it not being a list, though it should still be a colon.
User avatar #40 to #39 - kwax (08/29/2013) [-]
Nope, when it's quoted it is considered "direct speech" in a sentence.
If a verb precedes direct speech, the verb should be followed by a colon.
If a preposition precedes direct speech, the verb should be followed by a comma.

Examples:
College admission should be: "This, and that".
College admission should start with, "This, and that".
User avatar #42 to #40 - jasonvgrace ONLINE (08/29/2013) [-]
Touche my dear sir, if I could give you bacon you would receive a metric truck-tonne of it. I'll make sure to carry this lesson to my grave...or at least for the next few days.

If you're quite sure that their mother is more obese than your mother, then you simply must go over there and once sure that they're home, measure their mother and compare her girth to your mothers own.

precollege: "You could be anything you want to be"
college: "That will be $125,000 please"
User avatar #26 to #10 - tonkkax (08/29/2013) [-]
College costs that much? I thought it was around $30,000.

Lucky for me, if i want to go to "college" it's free.
User avatar #57 to #26 - yutdollacwwwthree (08/29/2013) [-]
A couple colleges in the US cost $90,000 a year.

You do the math.
User avatar #45 to #26 - andrewjla (08/29/2013) [-]
as killerostars said, that's for all 4 years. Now if you really want to do something with your life, you'd go to graduate school, and I don't even know how much that is so **** you to whoever says you could be whatever you want to be. I want to be the best baseball player there ever was but no, I can't.

In the US they are synonyms.
Unless you're talking exclusively about community colleges, in which case no **** - they're for people who want two-year degrees in welding or something.
User avatar #16 to #4 - slumberdonkey (08/29/2013) [-]

Not at all, this is very exaggerated. I don't know if you haven't seen a college in U.S. or are deliberately trying to make the U.S. look bad. Of course, colleges very in difficulty and academics, but none are at middle school level.
User avatar #61 to #7 - tittylovin (08/29/2013) [-]
I went to a community college. Middle School would be a compliment for some of my classmates, and they would have failed the test in the content.

Go tell your best friend you're gay for him; then you can **** him rather than just wank over him from over there. Don't tell the smith family, they're dead against gayness, their son is too and they kicked him out.
