I still prefer the potato method. . facing polite IS so rare these days that its often confused with flirting.

The thing that pisses me off is that people often accuse me of being nice to a girl with the pure ulterior incentive of wanting to get laid when I'm god damn nice to everyone regardless of gender or level of attractiveness.

I used to wear a fedora but not anymore since I liked showing my hair off more. I don't get friendzoned, I get rejected where I move on like a ******* man......where I get rejected again, move on and the cycle continues.

One of the very few times I've seen someone wear that style of hat and not look like complete **** .

Yeah, i must admit he looks quite ok in this picture, but in really he isn't an " asshole " but always the guy who think he is superior, more intelligent , more cultured and complain about not having a GF and being friendzoned.

On one side, stop ******* complaining that since you held open a door for a girl they don't insta-blow you

On the other, stop ******* complaining about people legitimately doing nice things for people and labeling them "lel le neckbeerd retarted autism!11! xdddddddddddd"

Preach.
Though I am torn, I sometimes just have random bouts of, **** ***** . I'm gonna make someone's day better. And you can't do that, because people think you're trying to gain something from it. I try to stay polite to a limit because I don't want to deal with the consequences of someone assuming you're flirting with em. It's just awkward.
#81 to #40 - teranin ONLINE (08/28/2013) [-]
uhhh... did you read the pic? You should read it again. like 5 times. and realize that it is saying EXACTLY WHAT YOU JUST ******* SAID TO CONTEST IT.

See, if it had said something like, "women keep confusing my flirting for just being polite" then yeah, it would support your claim, but if you read closely, it says THE EXACT ******* OPPOSITE.

doing anything that isn't considered "the norm" with Society now a days will be greeted negatively, even if you're doing something positive. Why? Because People don't know how to react to such things
just my opinion

This post is misunderstood

It actually states the exact opposite of what the fedora-wearing "friendzoned" guys do.

He's wearing a bowler, and making a social commentary on an overall pervasive rudeness in society that ***** signals up, so people that are utterly uninterested in ******* someone sometimes get read as flirting when they are merely being polite. It is not implying that said person WANTS their politeness to be mistaken for flirting, but rather the EXACT OPPOSITE.

TLR this content is a counterpoint to fedora people, not a support of them.

It's cool, most people understood that. There's just a vocal minority of illiterate people who wanted to smash their face into the keyboard and make an ass of themselves.

Precisely, Girls tend to ask me why I'm flirting with them while all I do is be polite
User avatar #62 - chucknorrisTHEGAME (08/28/2013) [-]
I live in Canada and this can actually be really confusing, because people will naturally go above and beyond regular standards of polite with no other intentions.

I don't get why so many are jumping to the fedora insults. One of the girls in my old group of friends used to scoff whenever an older guy held the door open for us, telling us that she reckons he's a pervert. I think that's a negative attitude OP is talking about.

I took this post off a woman's page, and I don't even see how it has anything to do with beta males. It's implying rather the opposite of that whole beta male ******** fedora thing, isn't it? That's how it sounded to me, anyway.

Too bad most statistics are negative. Multiculturalism destroying culture and economies throughout the west. And paving way for bogus policies like limiting free speech. It's also funny how canucks promote being ********** yet throw their indigenous populations in jail.

Everyone hates fedoras because so many people will wear a dress fedora for with everyday clothes. You have to have hats for every occasion, otherwise you're just making yourself look bad.
If I'm going to wear my dress Fedora, Then I'll also be wearing my Blazer. If It just common cloths, then I have a straw hat fedora or a Ballcap.

This is so annoying. Me and a friend got on a bus a year ago, and after a couple of stops, it got ridiculously crowded. I couldn't, in good conscience, keep my seat with two women standing right in my face, so we let them have ours. The girl who took my seat spent the remainder of the ride staring at me with this look like "Please, don't ask me out." Made the trip unnecessarily awkward
#30 to #25 - dontknowmeatall (08/28/2013) [-]
You got lucky. The last time I gave my seat to a woman it turned out to be a feminazi. I had to listen a speech about how I'm a sexist dick who doesn't think she's capable of going three miles on her feet. I just snapped "Fine, then **** you" and sat back. I never give my seat to anyone anymore.

once I was being confused with being gay because I was being nice to a girl. she said I was being so nice only a gay guy could be so nice and she thought I was flirting. I was at first but she got a boyfriend so I just wanted to be friends
sorry if this is too long
