I currently have a cat that brings in mice and birds from time to time, however previously to my current cat I had another. And what it did far surpasses what my current cat has ever dine or will ever do.
I was home alone one day, it was around 7-7:30. Normally my cat would come home by around 5 as for some reason it had a routine a pretty precise routine. Anyway, I was getting kind of worried, never had my cat been home this late. But by 8:15-ish my cat returned with something I imagine no cat has done before. In the mouth of my cat was the carcass of another cat, a bigger cat, being dragged by it's back leg, it was pretty 'mangled' and so I presume it'd been run over and my cat brought it home as a present.

actually i think the dog might respect him as "higher ranking fellow" in the pack thus giving the prey to him so that he may eat first.

(in dog packs the higher ranking dogs eat first and then it moves down on the chain of command)

meaning the dog understand he is the boss and thus brings him food and ****

They can hear, and see what you're visually thinking. This is the absolute complete truth!!!!!

Asians hide their mind reading abilities by a lot of them having completely expressionless faces so they don't accidentally show facial expressions when people think things they don't like, find funny, astonishing, etc, and Asians segregate so their not nearly as susceptible to that happening.
Asians also segregate, and are untalkative to avoid accidentally saying things that are similar to what people are thinking and going to say.

Try thinking, and visually picturing things that are as wild as you can when you are around Asians, and look for Asians who give people dirty/particular looks for what appears to be for completely no reason.

After catching 7 mice she brought in and putting them back outside she finally clued in that I don't eat vermin.
She watched me and my family eat for a week and apparently came to the conclusion we eat boxes because for a month she would bring empty food containers to the house and drop them in my lap looking all proud of herself.

I think my cat trumps you all. At the end of winter my cat didn't come home one night, weird for the time of year but not unheard of and I found her stuck in the fence around the pool with a coyote trap around her leg. We called the number on the trap and the guy was trapping nearly 4 miles from where I live.

Are you from Australia then? That country has all of my nope. I puss out about the spiders I see here in the North West U.S. I probably would have a great time geeking out about the snakes there though. Andromeda would also be allowed to come outside a lot more.

She would probably thrive since she is a spider snake.
#54 to #51 - harbingerwolf (08/25/2013) [-]
Nah im in the UK, all my stuffs had to be imported at some point. I even have US species of jumping spiders which are freaking adorable :3

If i could get a snake it would either be a red tailed boa or western hognose. Did work experiance at a reptile shop, had to work with carpet pythons i think they were, they were total dicks.
#55 to #54 - lolerlaura (08/25/2013) [-]
I love jumping spiders!! They are so cute and friendly looking. I like how they tilt their heads from side to side like a dog would. Andromeda is a ball python and is the chillest little snakey ever. However if I were to get another snake I would want a western hognose. They are adorable! I have also heard they have a great temper.
#58 to #55 - harbingerwolf (08/25/2013) [-]
They are funny as hell, they act super aggressive yet they hardly ever follow up on their threats. And yeah i love jumping spiders, got a us species (phiddipus regius) and 2 malaysian species at the minute. Its funny how they watch you as soon as you enter the room, you can even play with them with a laser pen like you can a cat

Here's a big malaysian one i had a couple years back.
#63 to #58 - lolerlaura (08/25/2013) [-]
Oh its so cute!! It looks like it has little eye brows!! Please excuse me as I go squee for a little bit. I have seen gifs of people playing with jumping spiders and lazer pointers. I want to do that so much but we only get wood spiders around my house and I want nothing to do with those guys.

How many spiders do you have? I was thinking that they would make an interesting pet. How long have you had them and what do you feed them?

Sorry for the 20 Qs but you have piqued my interest.
User avatar #68 to #63 - harbingerwolf (08/25/2013) [-]
Oh and here's a pic of the one time i bred jumping spiders before from a couple of years ago.

I had to go on holiday right after they left the nest, gave them all to someone to look after whilst i was away, came back to just one left, which was the individual i posted earlier with the blue fangs
User avatar #72 to #68 - lolerlaura (08/25/2013) [-]

User avatar #75 to #72 - harbingerwolf (08/25/2013) [-]

That silk pouch looked like a pillow of nightmares for an arachnaphobe though.
User avatar #65 to #63 - harbingerwolf (08/25/2013) [-]
At the minute i have 5 (soon to be 6) jumping spiders and 3 huntsman spiders. They eat any insect they can over power, and i've had baby jumping spiders tackle crickets more than twice their size, they really are amazing. Been keeping them on and off for a few years now, i think one of my jumpers lived almost 2 years i think. They are still an uncommon pet in the UK, they dont get imported often and bred even less. Hopefully i'll be one of the first few to get them established, managed to get some malaysian golden ones mated today, male didnt get killed either which is always a plus lol.
#70 to #65 - lolerlaura (08/25/2013) [-]
A friend of a friend used to breed tarantulas. He had a rather rare breed which he could sell the babies for around 200$ per baby, more if it was female.

I'm just curious but what made you want to start collecting spiders? Since childhood I had always wanted a snake and finally went out and bought one last year. I love weird pets. I also love freaking people out when I go for walks with Andy around my neck.

Sadly she is now far too fat to hang on my headphones like in this pic.
User avatar #73 to #70 - harbingerwolf (08/25/2013) [-]
I grew up on Steve Irwin and David Attenborough programs and i've been an animal lover for as long as i can remember. I've had tonnes of exotic pets now for years but it was only a few years ago that my parents actually let me have spiders, my mums arachnophobic, she dont mind jumpers though. And yeah think i might know the species, well there are a few that go for that price. If i ever end up with spares i sell them on aswell, gives me money back to buy more species and food
User avatar #83 to #73 - lolerlaura (08/25/2013) [-]
I was a heartbroken when steve irwen died. I actually cried. I really wanted to go visit Australia zoo and see him one day. Aside from some large spiders I am not afraid of insects or reptiles. I love snakes and I love to educate people about them. As long as I don't think it is too big and scary I will catch spiders and put them outside instead of kill them.

Except for the boss spider I saw the other day. It was a large wood spider with a slightly smaller one on top of it. That was too horrid for me to allow. They were going to breed in my house which is a big no-no. My sister saw it first and woke the whole house up screaming like a banshee.

I want to get into breeding ball pythons. Some colors on them are just so beautiful.
User avatar #349 to #83 - harbingerwolf (08/27/2013) [-]
Think red tailed boa's are the nicest big snakes, there was a runty one at a pet shop i was doing work experiance, born with a missing eye. Whilst all the carpet pythons wanted my blood this little boa just coiled round my hand whilst i cleaned it tank out. Wish i could have brought him home, was the softest thing i ever felt.
