>Cyborg Stan then goes on to become the first actual superhero.
>He fights crime relentlessly and creates a superhero team full of ageing comic book creators who themselves have become cyborgs.
>They defend the world from alien threats and killer robots.
>2036 we're all watching a film based on their exploits.
>Cyborg Stan plays a newspaper salesman who appears in a montage after the climatic battle.

Full circle

but guys he's alive, he's in good spirits, and in relatively good health. why dwell on tragedies that haven't happened yet. i say we celebrate him and his accomplishments while we can. EXCELSIOR!

I care for a select few celebrity deaths. Paul Newman, Patrick Swayze, Kurt Cobain, Heath Ledger, even Michael Jackson. All of them left a mark on the world that has helped a certain person get through the day a little easier, these kinds of people leave behind an influence, something that is needed to progress, to understand, to learn and to make us all better in a certain way. But Stan Lee, his influence is too strong to express how large the void will be when he passes. Seeing the amount of kids walking around on Halloween, sporting their favorite superhero threads, their favorite candy baskets, it's pure bliss to see how far these characters go to inspire kids, it's amazing to see how much they do to help kids possess the drive to go as far as they can. It's a desire that is just unreachable when you grow older.
The characters are timeless, but the man behind them never will be. That's such a great tragedy. The idea of something like this in the post actually happening shakes me to my core, I don't think I'd be able to sit in the theatre. The only thing to take comfort in is the legacy he left behind from his own imagination, his imagination will never die.

Stan Lee, is never old, OP. Nor is he young. He ages precisely when he means

i could just see a picture with every Marvel superhero in a graveyard with all the masks/helmets of with their head hung low as they look on to the grave of their father in a since, all with tears in their eyes.

I see it as not only with the heroes, but with the villains as well... They too are his creations, right?
