Theres a lesson here, fellow...funnyjunk...people.

If you're still in school, and you see a dude being bullied often, next time you see that **** , help that kid. No matter the situation. All kids deserve a friend as a kid and no one deserves to be treated so poorly for so little. Make their enemies your enemies. In this dark world, your good deed may not shine brightly, but it will be bright enough to light the way for someone else. Or some...metaphorical ******** like that.

**** it, just, if you see a kid being bullied, give the bullies the ******* business.

It's an odd thing when someone you have never met, never even seen can give you chills through 1's and 0's manifested as green typed letters.

i got bullied a lot as a child and i made it through it, to be honest i feel like bullying is a kind of "test your metal" trial in school, if you survive as many years of bullying that you get then u get to claim a man status because you were tougher than those kids who opted for the easy way out with the gun or the rope
tl;dr
survival of the fittest
#10 to #8 - weewing (08/20/2013) [-]
It is a somewhat natural social construct, but only necessary at that age.

That said, it's only necessary for you to realize how ridiculous and childish the whole thing is. ergo, to grow up.

But some folk must not get it, and take the bullying to new limits. Those are generally the ******* who live their whole lives with the mind of a stunted 12 y/o.

It's just truly tragic that some people don't have anyone.. Without anyone, anything would kick you over the edge.

I was thinking the same thing the other day, actually. I moved schools in 4th grade and was bullied a lot because I was the outsider. I made a friend and it helped a lot, still had problems, but I mostly ignored them. 8th grade rolls around and I was somewhat lost, I felt as if I didn't belong, I hung out with some people a grade under me (mostly for one chick that wasn't too bad), but then they all started talkin about smokin pot in **** and I left. Then I realized, I do have ******* friends, I do have a place. I felt so bad that I never realized who my true friends were...

Your comment about your bulling is correct, it's ****** terrible, but if you endure it, it's a great feel to go BITCHES I CAN TAKE YO **** COME AT ME! Rarely will you find someone to fend for you, and that... I don't mean to sound like an asshole, but it makes you weak. You then rely on that person to help you out, than it's harder to learn how to fend for yourself.

Not everyone is capable of getting through it. The only thing that kept me from killing myself during elementary school was that I was afraid of death at the time.

There's really no way to justify bullying. It's **** , it sucks, and it shouldn't happen. But it does, so people have to deal with that. Not everyone can come out of being bullied and bettering themselves and such. A good comparison would be allergies - while some people are hardly phased by, say, a bee sting, there are others who can die from the same bee sting.

You see, every person is different. While being bullied might be a good way for one person to better themselves and such, it could have very different results with another person. That's kinda why I can understand the whole "Anti-Bullying" thing. It doesn't stop bullying, but it provides a place for those who can't handle being bullied to help themselves.

Everybody is different and takes different traumas (you guessed it) differently.

I was never bullied, I actually fought with bullies who would have made friends of mine their prey.

I think that if somebody is pushed to suicide then to them (and I mean to them alone) things have gotten so bad that they can't bare to live with it. When 99.9% of the people who know you hate your guts, I'm sure it's difficult to think of the 0.1% of people who care about you.

But at the end of the day, it is survival of the fittest, the strongest pull through.
#47 to #8 - anon (08/21/2013) [-]
so you and that guy derak who replied to you got bullied but you pulled through and became tougher? nicely done, i honestly congratulate you on that. but calling that survival of the fittest and branding the kids that were not able to "unfit", is pretty ****** .

you needed people to bully you over years to get your **** together, maybe start working out and deciding not to be a victim anymore? *sloooow clap*
there are others who weren't bullied and did just that regardless. so by your definition they are fitter still than you.

the kid that hanged himself is not you and he certainly is not the guy who's never been bullied "but" still is in the front line of the rugby team. he is probably someone who cannot stand up, or get something positive out of it because he is more frail.
but does that mean he shouldn't be treated normally and allowed a peaceful life?

heavy bullying is not a test, it's **** . and you should strongly reconsider your views.
the gun/rope isn't the "easy" way out

Humans victimizing each other doesn't make us strong
it makes us weak
#9 to #8 - derak (08/20/2013) [-]
See, you're right. You're ******* right.

I was a little **** back in elementary school, and to boot I was scrawny, had thin skin and was easy to beat up. Consequently, I was bullied constantly and got the **** kicked out of me more than once. And I remember hating myself for what was happening.

But at the end of the day, I realize it helped me way more than it hurted me. It forced me to man the **** up or face punishment, and by the time I hit highschool, I'd matured way beyond my age. The kids that picked on me went to a different highschool, but I retained the lessons I'd learned and it helped me have an enjoyable highschool experience.

If i hadn't been bullied I never would have grown up, never would have had motivation to start working out or dominating in sports (I started playing rugby, and ended up on the first line for my school's first team). I never would have learned to choke back tears or take a kick in the gut and get up and keep fighting. I never would have known what it's like to hate myself, but most importantly I never would have known how to adjust myself.

So all in all, enough with all this anti-bullying campaigning. Bullying has and will always happen. The key is training kids to fight back, not let adults fight back for them.

That was actually a really good point.
#58 to #9 - arandomanon (08/21/2013) [-]
^this. I couldn't agree more. I was the kind of bullied kid too until all that crap taught me a lesson: stand up by yourself or nobody will. When I went to a different highschool and tried to mess with me, I fought back and didn't let them **** with me. Bullying is not cool, but if it happens, you must teach the children to defend themselves. Not coming back to mommy (or whoever) every single time it happens (like most of schools encourage them).
