For those who want to know more about #4:

One way this is proven is by Limits. Many limits result in various arithmetic expressions involving Zeros and Infinitys. Therefore things like infinity over infinity and anything over zero are deemed "indeterminate values." Thanks to L'Hoptal's rule most of these can be determined, but some times they just end up being infinity or zeros.
