Everyone talks about how your toddler/adolescent years were your best years, but think about it...

You were physically small.
You didn't know how to do anything properly.
You had all sorts of questions, and maybe even opinions, about everything, yet no one payed any attention to you.
Trying to do anything your parents were already doing (even if it wasn't even the dangerous **** , like smoking or drinking) was ground for punishment.
Trying to defend yourself on ANYTHING was pretty much a fruitless effort on every occasion.

Being a little kid...SUCKED.

Where I am right now, having turned 21 just a few months ago, is infinitely better. No, seriously, get this:

Physically, I'm right on par with everyone else. No one gives me **** for being "small and adorable."
I actually know how to adequately take are of myself. I **** up every once in a while, but never "I wanted spaghetti-o's and now the kitchen's on fire!" **** up.
People still don't give a rats ass about my opinions and questions......but now I know it's just because people are assholes.
My parents can't say **** about drinking, smoking... **** ...even cursing.
Same **** with having opinions and questions, though telling people to **** off when they accuse you of erroneous **** works surprisingly well.

Do I have bills and responsibilities? Hell yes, but I deal with it...because I'm not the whiney little **** I was 16 years ago.

Ah yes, being young wasn't much fun, and moving on to adulthood isn't much fun either.

Basically both have their pros and cons but they both suck

i didn't really have that much trouble as a kid. My parents took me seriously most of the time and i could cook way more complicated stuff without ******* lighting the kitchen on fire.

Well, in my unprofessional medical opinion, I will diagnose you with ********* . There's two courses we can go from here. I can give you some medicine to stop the spread, which will give you the ability to do math extremely well, and it will make you shorter, with of course the downsides of having to wear glasses and worrying about honor, or we can leave it be. Eventually you may gain an affinity for "big booty hoes" who you will then later in life inpregnate, and leave on the streets. In addition, you will be very good at "bustin' rhymes, dawg"*

*penis length increase not guaranteed
User avatar #41 to #40 - edgecutter (08/19/2013) [-]
B-but doctor cat... I'm already good at math and worried about honour...

WHAT DOES IT MEAN!
User avatar #43 to #41 - kommandantvideo (08/19/2013) [-]
It can mean only one thing...

You're a black asian russian. What this means is that, sometime during your life, you'll become an alcoholic, but not just any alcoholic. An athletic alcoholic capable of mathematical functions that not even NASA's supercomputers can handle. You'll become a god. A god among men, hell, a god to gods! You must use this power for good...

or just get put in jail for being black.

Either may happen.
User avatar #44 to #43 - edgecutter (08/19/2013) [-]
So what you're saying is that I will get ultimate power... or get to rape people...

A win-win, I'd say!

Thanks Doc!

I sleep where I want, **** where I want and answer only to myself. Being homeless is the most fun I have ever had in my life. I have had a ******* of crazy adventures and its only been a month!

TL;DR being homeless is where it's at.

The question is how much freedom will you have living paycheck to paycheck?
User avatar #106 to #105 - Crusader (08/20/2013) [-]
If you are living paycheck to paycheck, then you aren't living.
Get a better job, work your way up in the world.
inb4 any of the following
You need education
You need money
You need security

I have a highschool diploma, not that hard to get, I make approx. 70K a year before taxes, it's not hard if you just keep fishing.

Save your pennies so you can spend the time looking for that job.

That better paying job in the end will more than likely offer more security than where you are now.

As a man who only in the past year has been able to leave home and become an adult, I can say that it is nothing but improvement for me. Since I moved last October I've gotten my own place, I've got a nice job, I've got the freedom to do as I please whenever I please, and a beautiful woman to share it all with. My adolescence was ****** the **** up, and now that I've been given some iota of control over my life it's improved 1000x (I'm seriously not even dramatizing that figure. There's no math behind it but it's a pretty damn good guesstimation). All your life your parents tell you **** like "Just wait until you get out into the real world and reality bitchslaps you in the face."

The real world is actually epic as **** if you give a damn. Just don't be a lazy prick and life is awesome. I recommend everybody give it a try.
