...am I the only who thinks there are cloned people some where in a government base, but the government immediately banned it out of fear of the ethical dilemmas and ramifications. Or the clones are completely ****** up and don't have empathy.

that's the ethical dilemma I was talking about. What makes up personhood? Is it consciousness? If consciousness makes up personhood, what makes up consciousness? It appears a functioning brain is all there is to consciousness, and thus personhood. The only difference between a clone and your grandma is that the clone was never born. So is being born an innate quality to personhood? Surely you can't just harvest healthy people's organs, so why can you do it to clones? It would make us redefine what is and what is not a person. That also could have a big splash affect on animal rights and abortion debates as well. It would be a giant ********* .

yeah im sure it would start a **** storm but i mean right after they are cloned we could just try to kill them instantly without damaging the desired organs. They would not know what would be happening and wohat would be happening would occur too quick to notice that they would die.I think this could save more lives than it would cost but then again the lives being lost are from clones so its like we are getting something from nothing.

Interesting point. My question would be why the rapid killing matters. Is killing a baby as soon as its born not murder? Does stopping their life and thus their personhood instantly really avoid them being persons and thus deserving of life? I don't know, man. Thumbs for the good discussion.

Well killing an infant just for the sake of not wanting it is far more different from killing a clone for the sake of taking his/her organs in order to help others. But for the record im not against abortion nor am i for it.What i mean is im not like ,"Ugh god would be ashamed." and nor am i like ,"Its her body she can do what she wants tsk."but yes this was a good discussion i shall give you a thumb aswell.

Well, one can absolutely say "Am I the only one who is sitting in a white chair in a house in [where ever one lives] eating [insert food here] and browsing FunnyJunk" without having others who feel the same.

Therefore, your picture would become obsolete.
