They last longer, majority of the customers who buy macs aren't really into the specs. The computers last longer for someone who uses them for surfing the internet, video / digital programs, etc (basic everyday use). Most people who purchase windows computers are more into upgrading to the newest and greatest thing every few years.

Ignorant 12 year olds like to argue until they're blue in the face about how bad macs are but they really don't have any idea what they're talking about. They're two different products for two different types of people, people who argue on this subject need to get over this aspect. Also, Macs aren't as bad as everyone says, they're quality computers for everything besides playing video games and last a long time.

I almost never turn off my computer and I've had it for 10+ years. I upgrade it every now and then but even so it's never failed me since. I fail to see how macs last longer... considering a Mac would've been outdated 2 years later and can't be upgraded.

Saved up for an AR-15.

Bought a Mosin-Nagant, enough ammo to last me until doomsday and paid off the bills instead.

I wish.

I don't actually have one. Just made the above for laughs. Thinking of getting one, however, with a license as well.

Got any tips for a hopeful?

Try to find a pre-war, hex receiver mosin if you can. They're made to tighter specs and will serve you better if you decide to put a scope on.

Speaking of scopes, for a cheaper, and easier option to drilling and tapping, check out Brass Stacker scope mounts for the mosin. I've got one with a scout scope on my nugget and it's bleedin' awesome. All you have to do to attach it is punch the pins on the rear sight.

errmm...get a license if you want. If you wanna get one, try to find some gun shows around your area, you can usually find a vendor with these there. Make you sure you take good care of it, cleaning it after shooting. Get a lot of ammo and a **** ton of targets cause this ********** blows holes in **** . It's also got an amazing safety feature and holds 5 bullets! I ******* LOVE THIS GUN. I would choose this over an AR-15 any day.

on a side note the Mosin-Nagant is my favorite rifle

My friend has enough mosin nagants to fuel a small army. His grandmother found them in her basement of her old house.

Sure lets go with that. Whatever makes your uneducated "Its more expensive must be better" mind happy...
User avatar #5 to #3 - yiffcario (08/17/2013) [-]
What are you talking about?
I was making fun of the mac. PC is better.
I was saying Windows 95 is as good as a modern day Mac.

He probably has a couple of Kanye West's $120 t-shirts too. Cause if they cost that much, they must be better.

People think you're saying the Windows alternate is only as good as W95, funny how quick they are to call you uneducated. lel

People are just continuing to make themselves look even more retarded with their replies to my comment but I'm glad you understood it.

Is funny because Macintosh computers are more expensive than Microsoft computers.

Microsoft doesn't make computers. No, *********** tablets don't count.

I own a macbook pro and an HP probook.

I like them both the same for different reasons. Why do people decide to like one and just completely talk down on the other?
User avatar #12 to #11 - enkmaster (08/18/2013) [-]
Because Macs are overpriced and often built with sub-par parts. If you spent $1500 on a Mac and $1500 on a PC, the PC would usually be far better in every respect and benchmark. (if its a custom)

I just bought a mac to make unity3d deployments, that ******* laptop cost 1100 and I have used it less than 10 hours since last november... rather to use my hp than the mac...
User avatar #16 - masterqueefman (08/18/2013) [-]
Why the **** save up for a mac then.....
User avatar #30 - incontinence (08/18/2013) [-]
Macs are for people who like the operating system and the way the computer looks and are willing to pay a bit extra for that. Seriously why do people care so much?
User avatar #21 - talosknight (08/18/2013) [-]
Both stopped working in a year. Your Mac still would be.

Lol this statement is right, but you ignorant ********* would rather live in denial.

Really cause I've had my laptop for around 5 years now and it's still going strong. On the other hand my Grandma's mac has slowed down to the pace of a snail after two.

Weird how that works eh?
User avatar #29 to #21 - yaminotoncod (08/18/2013) [-]
Except the part where you need to buy an entirely new mac if a single piece is messed up. Of course you can send it in, but for hundreds of dollars and the problem will eventually probably return or another problem. While a PC you just fix it yourself for much cheaper or free...
