Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Parallel Works 1 Here's the official "music video" for the song this post is referencing.

...the song it was referencing to was part of the original sound track of Gurren Lagann, and this video was just one of many parallel videos to the series. That was not an "official music video" for it.

Just look up Gurren Lagann parallel works and you should be able to find them... I think there's like half a dozen or so. I never really watched anything outside of the series and 2 movies.

But Parallel Works is essentially a series of videos set to the OST of Gurren Lagann.

Sure, but you should say that it's in Gurren Lagann so that people will watch the whole series of it

Thanks for spoiling the show. You might as well just say that she's ends up dying while you're at it.

If someone hadn't seen the show, they wouldn't even know what happened. Now, anyone who reads your comment will be spoiled.

The same anime as the post and every other comment: Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.
Before you ask; YES, ******* YES watch this show.
While it's not the "best" show ever ( I consider that to be Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood ), it's is indisputably the most amazingly epic and over-the-top thing to exist ever and still be good. I will buy you ANY game on Steam if you can convince me otherwise. See this ****** in the gif? See how he just shoots up in size? Guess what; he just became 52.8 billion light-years tall.
It has a very unique and instantly recognizable style, both with its sketchiness and how everything moves. You can probably see what I mean in the gif (notice the bits of sluggishness to emphasize large and powerful movements, like in the top-down view after he does that rainbowy spin).
While it's a bit slow to start, it definitely picks up, especially near the ends of either main arc.
There are 26 episodes. The first 6-ish are the setup and ****, the next ones until 13 are when SImon stops being a massive pussy and becomes a man. Like, almost Kamina levels of manliness (though nobody could ever come close to that). After that is where the show mainly gets its reputation for over-the-topness.
The only reason I don't consider this a "perfect" show like I do FMA: B is because it doesn't have a proper balance of every element a show could have. By that I mean that's there's a lot of action and comedy and even a good amount of sadness without over-powering amounts of fan service, but it doesn't leave you with a feeling of mystery or suspense like FMA does. That and it's quite difficult to remember all the names of characters.

So besides saying "don't watch it in English because it sounds ****** in English", there's not much else I can add to this.
So... so go ******* watch this show.
Do it.
Do it now.

And the movies are really just recaps of both main arcs with some changes that I don't like. At least not in the first one.

I almost always prefer the English dub of anime as well, but not in this case.
Just... just watch TTGL subbed.

but where does the ghost in the picture come from? I remember another anime where a group of friends discover a ghost and some **** happens which is why I asked what the anime was.

I didn't even notice the drill the guy was holding otherwise I would have known what the anime was.

The reason why the TTGL English dub is infinetly superior to the original
I... I don't know what ghost you're talking about.

Also, while I was typing that reply, I couldn't find a certain video I was looking for, but now I did so here's that to help prove my point.
