the stairs are different widths in each picture

sir, your comment is awesome, something about it keeps making me laugh...thank you
User avatar #40 to #5 - lesrin (08/12/2013) [-]
are we gonna ignore the fact that each set of stairs has different railings, or perhaps how the fist set has a wall partially sticking out along side the stairs and the others dont? or perhaps how next to the stairs is different in each one?
User avatar #52 to #5 - runescapewasgood (08/12/2013) [-]
it looks like they took out the lockers, made the stairs wider, and put the door closer.
User avatar #76 to #5 - animedudej ONLINE (08/12/2013) [-]
you missed the line where it said "Never COMPLETELY torn down" as in "partially demolished"

Even the amount of steps?
User avatar #12 to #11 - zaiopeperse (08/12/2013) [-]
not to mention the guardrail
#16 to #12 - thatginger ONLINE (08/12/2013) [-]
well... it says "not completely taken down" so im assuming they took certain parts away, rearranged it to fit their needs
User avatar #19 to #16 - zaiopeperse (08/12/2013) [-]
seems weird to me that they've done so much to a single set but I guess it's plausible. I Then again, (disclaimer, I'm not asking you directly as if toy know all the answers) why would they change the steps (it was 8 in saved by the bell, 6 in that's so raven and then back to 8 in icarly)
#20 to #19 - thatginger ONLINE (08/12/2013) [-]
Just look at the guy #18, he said what i was thinking

Your points were well thought aswell though, i kinda thought it was a stretch at first, but then i realized the wording of it...
#10 to #5 - mattoland (08/12/2013) [-]
i can believe the TSR one but the iCarly one has a different set of door's next to the steps and the step's are in fact larger
User avatar #18 to #5 - hellomynameisbill (08/12/2013) [-]
they dismantled all of the props and aesthetic items. but they didn't dismantle the actual set itself, so sometimes they may add more doors land or walls
User avatar #4 - Crusader (08/12/2013) [-]
No, I'm pretty sure that's all just coincidental that those all look similar
User avatar #51 - terrria **User deleted account** (08/12/2013) [-]
Just like in real life, no one actually builds a new school. They just renovate and rename until the end of time.
User avatar #70 - yusay ONLINE (08/12/2013) [-]
Completely different widths, heights, material and number of steps on those stairs along with different placement of doors, walls and lockers sure must mean these are the same sets.

Oh, and we all know that two completely different companies in competition with each other share sets. Common knowledge.
User avatar #77 to #70 - masri (08/12/2013) [-]
thats so raven 2003-2007
icarly 2007-2012
saved by the bell 1989-1993

what competition?
User avatar #80 to #77 - aaadddmmmiiinnn (08/12/2013) [-]
Disney channel and nickelodeon
User avatar #82 to #80 - masri (08/12/2013) [-]
again, different times
why compete with reruns when they can compete with actual new shows...also the set is not owned by said company, it can be rented out.
User avatar #86 to #70 - dessydegreemurder (08/12/2013) [-]
Plus, aren't most of the sets for Nickelodeon located in the Nickelodeon building?

Considering TV tropes provides no source for that rumor I can't take it as true.

Also, almost everything is different. That's replacing materials and even if the set somehow changed hands between three different companies over twenty years I see no indication that the original set pieces are still there.
User avatar #93 to #92 - yusay ONLINE (08/12/2013) [-]
Well I'll be damned.

Do you have anything proving it's the same exact set though?
#94 to #93 - masri (08/12/2013) [-]
Set: the scenery and other props used in and identifying the location of a stage or television production, film, etc

im saying that the location was the same. I say this again, the stage was the same, the location was the same but the props and everything else were redressed

so why dont you learn to use the internet and look it up for yourself

#95 to #94 - yusay ONLINE (08/12/2013) [-]
I did look it up, and I didn't find anything about it being the exact same set except for rumors or no evidence claims.

It was an innocent question because I genuinely wanted to know. I already said you were right that it was the same location, man.
User avatar #96 to #95 - masri (08/12/2013) [-]
>exact same set
clearly stated that it wasnt the exact same set, refer yourself to the definition of set.

Set=props, location of a stage, scenary

we go 2/3 in this one which makes it the set a 66% match
#97 to #96 - yusay ONLINE (08/12/2013) [-]
Dude, I wasn't trying to argue with you. You proved it's the same location. I just wanted to know if you also had anything proving that it was the same set. I only wanted to know.
User avatar #99 to #95 - masri (08/12/2013) [-]
same is not the exact word id use, similar would be more appropriate
User avatar #91 to #90 - masri (08/12/2013) [-]
im not saying that the set has the same exact props but they have redressed it and have used previous pieces that were on the set of saved by the bell

i dont remember that well but i think they all had the same high school name, which was bayside high, and also the same set

Pretty sure it's used in Victorious too.
User avatar #3 to #2 - tacotuesdayz (08/11/2013) [-]
thats one of the few shows, i gurantee didnt use it though. it didnt have the same design exactly. seriously. look at it. it loooks nothing like it
#6 to #3 - MatoroBro (08/12/2013) [-]
those two shows were produced during the same time, they couldn't have been the same stage
User avatar #101 to #6 - tacotuesdayz (08/13/2013) [-]

icarly was made in 2007
victoious was made in 2010. theyre 3 years apart
but seriously. just look at its interior design.
i think they only cancelled icarly so they could remodel the school for victorious
thats my new hypothesis
