Any thing you use to light a cigar can impart some taste to the cigar. The fluid in a Zippo does not burn very clean and it is possible to taste it. That becomes especially true if the Zippo has the wick pulled way out to creat a large flame. Also if you let the flame actually touch the tobacci it will impart more taste than if you do not

I BOUGHT MY FIRST CIGAR TODAY! I wish i saw this post earlier, but i can always save it and use it later. My friend and i just asked the clerk to help us. The guy was really cool and gave us a box of Aston Villa matches on the house

Not that you'd care, but we bought a couple of Romeo & Juliette's, and i would highly recommend them

"Close, but no cigar," is an idiom in the English language that means that you gave a good effort, but you didn't quite get something, right so to speak.

The woman in the picture is a famous American actress Glen Close. So the picture is a play on words.

<---This another one that you might understand better. Pictured is another American actress, Resse Witherspoon

i have tried out a variety of cigars, my old man likes punch cigars, i like onyx, white owl, romeo & julietta.
You can always go to a cigar shop and ask for a variety pack picking out several, don't expect to pay less then a hundred dollars and don't be cheap keep them in a cigar box with a humidor so you don't have to smoke them all at once.
I would like to end on a question, what cigars do you smoke?

The LFD Chisel is my standard goto, but the Rocky Patel 1990 is always top of the list if it is in stock.
