Wrong.
Falmer are still elves, just mutated elves, they are Snow Elves.

Chimer are something completely different, after the betrayal of Nerevar Azura cast their golden skin Ashen and turned their eyes red. This created the Dunmer, you can see what the chimer used to look like by looking at Vivec or Almalexia.

But everyone is the same size in elder scrolls. When it comes to armor, one size fits all. The armor even grows breasts when you give it to your female friend.

Well it's right in the name, Falmer. The Mer are commonly known as Elves, as opposed to Men and whatever Khajit and Argonians are. Anyway, you got High Elves (Altmer), Wood Elves (Bosmer), Dark Elves (Dunmer), Orcs (Orsimer), Snow Elves (???mer), The Betrayed (Falmer!), Dwarves (Dwemer) and I think that's about it.

They are officially known as "The Betrayed", as referenced by the few remaining true Snow Elves, or just Falmer as that's what it says in the game. That Dwemer/Falmer research wizard guy (forget his name, it was a weird name) said that Falmer used to be Snow Elves, but years (decades? centuries?) of slavery and torture transformed them into what they are now, which is distinctly not the form of a Snow Elf.

In Skyrim, you get a quest to harvest the blood of all kinds of mer (=elves) to trick the Dwemer Box containing the Oghma Infinium. You would normaly need the blood of a dwemer (Dwarfs, but litteraly means "Deep Elves" or "Deep Folk") to open it, but since there are no dwemer left, you trick it by collecting blood from all other elven folks: orsimer (orcs), falmer (snow elves), Bosmer (Wood Elves), Altmer (High Elves) and Dunmer (Dark Elves).

Ok, here's a very abridged version of TES lore cause I'm a fag TES nerd like that

Chimer are the extinct elves whose leaders were Nerevar and his advisers (the tribunal in Morrowind), Sotha Sil, Vivec, and Almexia (or some **** like that) they were in a war with the Dwemer because of the creation of the Numidium (Basically a giant golem). The Chimer got pissed because the Dwarves had a superweapon and believed that its power insulted the daedra. So they fought and after a while they decided to have a final battle at Red Mountain where the Dwemer lost ( and shortly thereafter dissappeared because they were ******* around with the heart of a divine)
Anyway Nerevar died from wounds in the battle but first he told everyone not to use the tools. The first thing his three advisers do is try to use them. So Nerevar's friend Dagoth ain't havin none of that **** and fights them, he loses and the three become god-like because of the heart. Azura got pissed and rook their powers and turned all the Chimer grey as revenge (it was grey because the battle happened in a volcano and their skin became ash. Daedra are ironic like that). Anyway Dagoth survied and tries to kill everyone that gets near the heart, including the reincarnation of his friend Nerevar...but you still kick his ass.

The Ayelieds were the heartland high elves

It's all correct, they are the creatures of mer and are named after such. There nicknames came later with arrival of the nords and other creatures of man. Though you did miss a few.
The Chimer = The Changed Folk
Ayleid = Wild or Heartland High Elves
Maormer = Sea or Tropical Elfs.
If a race has the word mer in their names (except for the Ayleid) they are of the race of elves.

The disappearance of the Dwemer is far more mysterious than simply "going extinct." There were millions, and then there were absolutely none, except for one that had contracted corprus disease as closer to a corpse than a dwarf anyways.

The disappearance of the dwarves is still a mystery, but lore suggests that it had to do with Kagrenac's tools and how they were used to tamper with an unfamiliar artifact of immense power, the heart of the dead god Lorkhan.

Yagrum Bagarn wasn't spared from the Dragon Break that let all other dwemers vanish because he had corprus. In fact, corprus is a sickness designed by Dagoth Ur and as such, wasn't existing when the Dragon Break happened. He didn't disappear because the Dragon Break only affected all dwemer on the mortal plane, but Yagrum Bagarn was visiting an outer realm at this moment.

Also whenever the dragon is broken is considered to be a distortion in time, in fact there was once a time when dragon was broken that an entire empire rose up the next day and no one really understood how or why. But I believe they were not stupid, they knew with the heart lorkhan they could break time and send their entire force far into the future where it was foretold that most of the races would be weak from years of war and battles. I can only hope Bethesda brings them back in the next game along with a great war.

Death can't be stopped?
Tell that to every daedra ever.

Well Daedra can die but they just respawn after a while in the realm they belong. At least that's what those Dremora told me in Oblivion. While they're death all they experience is emptiness and nothingness which is Sithis according to lore so even Daedra can't escape Sithis even though they'll eventually respawn.

They still die.
They just go back to oblivion and are resurrected, much like various mortals have been throughout history.
Death cannot be stopped, but it can be reversed.

It's pretty trippy. I'd say read it, but expect it to be a lot more hard fiction than the games

I was fairly well written and doesn't stray too far from the lore of Elder Scrolls. I'd say yeah.

But what about the book though, how well written was that?

About as well written as a pretty good fan fiction, which is pretty much what it is.
