I've never been drunk before and I have a good reason not to drink.

I knew a guy (Semi-friends) who was in the Military and was finishing up his Master's Degree in college. He had a high GPA and it was after finals but the semester wasn't over yet, as we hadn't had graduation yet. He was a nice guy and he was engaged to a pretty girl as well. He was getting some benefits from being in the Military as well but I'm not sure what exactly.

So one night after finals he and his bros go get wasted at a bar. Like I'm talking absolutely drunk off your ass. He walked his drunk self outside and saw a semi-truck that was on, they were unloading merchandise for the bar or something. So he gets in the truck while it's on and drives off as they were unloading, going over the curb and spilling a bunch of stuff. He floors it into the road and crashed into 3 cars, destroying them and costing a ******** of money.

Later on he got his Degree pulled, he got an Involuntary Discharge and everything was pulled from him, not to mention the fines he had to pay were huge. One thing he still had though was his wife and they ended up getting married.

MFW he had to go to a hillbilly college to get his Degree again because no one else would take him, and his record was ****** up forever.

I never saw him again but I heard he moved to Gardner in Colorado, a small ass town where he became a mailman.

I'll never understand why people assume just because one person they know ****** up terribly doing something, that means they should never do it ever.

Just because you have a dumb friend, that doesn't mean you can't get drunk.
If you're really that afraid, just have a sober chaperone.

Sorry to break it to you, but alcohol is good (with moderation), although some people can not, and should not drink, for everyone's sake. Your friend is the perfect example.

I know someone like this who always get drunk and totally loses control of himself with 1 or 2 beer (seriously !), and enjoy wrecking havoc : stealing things in people's gardens, destroying car lateral mirrors, etc... I'm telling you that because this person used to be a friend for like 6 or 7 years, and he preferred alcohol over our friendship.

That's why some people shouldn't be allowed to drink, for their safety and for everyone's.

you do realize that mailman is actually a kick-ass job with good pay, and benefits, and job security, right?
it's like garbageman, it sounds terrible until you actually realize that their hours, pay, benefits, and job security are the best, and that there's usually a waiting list miles long just to be considered.

just saying, it gives the story more of a happy ending.

I have never drank so much that they took away my college degree.

They took it away because he disobeyed the Code of Conduct.

Maybe you should stay in college a bit longer..

Some people do stupid **** when they're drunk. That's why you drink with friends, because real friends stop each other before **** like that happens.
