being born in the 90s is not what makes you a 90s kid. Kids born 95 and after are not really 90s kids.

Kids born in the mid to late 80s are 90s kids.

People born in the 90s are 90s babies.

Why the **** does anyone care? When was the last time you heard anyone say "Only 60s kids will remember Gilligan's Island." or "You were born in 1975, you're not a real 70s kid." You know the real sign of being a 90s kid? Being an annoying little cunt who thinks the decade they grew up in makes them better than everyone else.

Ok, honestly, what makes you a 90s kid is your nostalgia. Plain and simple. If you reminisce about Toonami, or Zoids, or all the other **** that was on TV and going on in the mid-to-late 90s, then congrats you're a "90s kid" I guess. Why it matters is really beyond me. I was born in '93, and I don't feel superior or inferior to the millennials or the older cooks around here. Everyone contributes their own sense of nostalgia to make FJ diverse and funny, and it seems to me that those detracting from this are the stuck up little ***** that like to pretend that the decade you were born in defines you as a person for better or for worse.

Da **** guys? If I said this **** a year ago I would have like 20 thumbs up with a few people saying "you are correct". And if I said "I was born in 95 I are 90's kid" I'd get thrown out like Hitler threw out the jews.

It's more than likely because most of the FJ users are under 18 (me included) are being pissy because someone said a statement that is pretty true to be honest.

We are NOT 90's kids, we are 90's babies who grew up in our younger part of our childhoods in the aftermath of the 90's. If we were true 90's KIDS we would be at least 5 when 1990 came around.

I do not give two ***** what you think.

1994 and more, not a 90's kid. You are a 90's BABY.

Real 90s kids were born in the 80s. Maybe 85ish. They'd be 15 in 2000 and moving from childhood into their young adult phases.

i´m born in 1996 too... but you know i really enjoy things from the 90´s and i´ve got two older brothers, so i think i can say i know alot about what was going on there .. (not everything but much) and in my opinion it doesn´t matter when you are born, to me it matters where YOU think YOU belong to.. if you feel like you are a 90´s kid, fine BE A 90´s kid and people like you should just shut the hell up ...

Bitch, being born in the 90's doesn't make you a 90's kid, I think that being born before 1990 and not being an adult by 2000 makes you a 90's kid. Bitch yes I was born in '89.

I was born in august 92 and I don't really feel like a 90's kid. The only 90 about me was that I played Pokémon and Mario but I'm not even sure that I did that in the 90's

Being a 90's kid should be classified by being born in the 80's and growing up in the 90's.

While I consider myself an early 2000's kid being born in 1996, I think it is worth noting that almost all of the famous "90's" shows were still airing in the early 2000's they didn't just stop because the decade ended, and most of us do have the same experience. why not just say "i saw these shows" instead of segregating ourselves into the "decade" we experienced as children.

i have to agree with anon here. 90s kids played the maze game at the start of windows 98. and watched dbz on tv (the original airing). if you are born in 1998 you were 2 by the time the new melenium was here. and you dont even remember the end of the 90s, i remember fireworks and fear of y2k. 1994 or younger seems appropriate.

95 is 90's kids though. That means it's 5 at 2000. idk about you, but you are technically a kid when you can concomitantly walk without assistance.

In my opinion, you'd have to be born in 92 or earlier (I was born in 93, so I don't really count myself as a 90s kid.) That's because you'd be 8-10 or so by 2000, so you're having most of your "kid experiences" in the late 90s

I guess that kinda makes sense. But I guess it also depends on parents roll too. Because my family has always been about 5 years behind until we just finally got it. I didn't get a 64 till about 2000 for Christmas (Zelda Ocarina Of Time gold cartridge **** yeah). So technically If i was born in a normal family at 90, I would have grown up almost exactly the same. So I guess 90's kids is more of a lifestyle. not as strict as people wanna be about it.

No, it doesn't. I remember quite a bit of the first 5 years of my life. So I guess in all technicality I am both a 90's and a 2000's kid.

I would have to agree with the guy below that said being born around 85 or 86 would make you qualify as a 90s kid more. I was born in 93 and have no memories of anything before around 4 (4 and 1/2 maybe) so I only remember a couple years in the 90s. I suppose I am technically a 90s kid, but hardly remember the 90s so I would say my older brother was a 90s kid, but not me.

Although, if getting up early on saturdays to watch cartoons, playing the Genesis, and PS1 all day, and playing on an original gameboy make you a 90s kid I suppose I was one.

Its not about being born in 90, its about being a kid in 90s.
My first console was a black and white ping pong game, I don't even remember the name of it.
I was born in 1988 and I can tell you, I played all the consoles that ever existed back when they were super new models.

And my favorite game is battletoads & double dragon on Sega
