I guess Batman Year One and then the Christopher Nolan Batman movies would be a good start

But the Christopher Nolan Batman movies skip over any Robin's, important story points, and anything to do with The JLA. They are not the best telling of Batman's story, only the most popular media wise.

Ya but for people that don't know much about his character they are a good starting point, at least in my opinion. I just finished the Long Halloween and have to say that Nolan did a good job re imagining that story arc

I guess as a starting point that would be okay, it just is not the best way to really understand Batman.

Ya but after those a person can watch Under the Red Hood. The Dark Knight Returns or JLA: Doom or even read books like Batman: Hush

Actually, that post just makes his whole character stupid. If he reacted that fast to everything he'd go kill himself out of sheer boredom. The fact that anything can hit him makes it sound like he gets hit, just for ***** and giggles.
On the other side, flash is pretty much one of the three most powerfull JL members, the others being Superman and Martian Manhunter,
1. MM, 2. F, 3. SM

its
Superman
Martian Manhunter
Flash
While MM has a larger bag of tricks, his weakness to fire make him a rather fragile flying brick. as Batman said "I have a 6 million dollar piece of meteor to stop the one in the Metropolis, for you all I need is a match."
Superman is completely openly stated to be most powerful being on the planet. Not just because of his powers, but also because how skilled and inventive he is in using them.

When it comes to the three of them it's rather up in the air about who of them is the most powerfull. Martian Manhunter can take down Superman, simply by attacking his mind. But then again, Supes could kill both MM and Flash with ease and Flash can go back in time and **** up everything so it gets pretty hard to see which one of them is the most powerfull as a fight can't be easy to measure. Flash can outrun them both till eternity gets bored, Superman is... Superman, what more is there to say and MM has mindtrickery and is resilient to everything... but fire which is a pretty big step back.

Still the Flash/attosecond thing is ******* stupid, maybe at the top of his power he can do that, but in a normal stage, no.

I think that was an ittention of the speech, its kinda taken out of the context from the comic.
He is not always percieving things at that rate, only when he is at the very limit of the speed force wall.

Anyone notice that their costumes were different at the beginning of the movie?
Flash doesn't have as much detail, and Bat's is rocking the old school blue color.

That's because Flashpoint was DC's way to move into the New 52, everyone got new costumes in the New 52. The point is to show it is 3 different timelines, original, Flashpoint, New 52.
