Five Guys is really cool. When you go there you don't really feel like you're going to just some cheap fast food burger joint. The food is pretty good and it doesn't make you want to eat and get out as soon as possible like many other fast food joints.

Carls jr (Hardees in the east) is the best cheap fast food restaurant. What you see is what you get. Which, with a monthly coupon, is two normal hamburgers (each bigger than the whopper) for 3 dollars.

(Yes I know there are much better places but ****** 3 dollars for two of these... maaaan.)

#70 to #34 - zsabber (08/03/2013) [-]
sadly, hardee's is the worst chain, at least in my country... their food tastes like paper...

only thing that was good there is the burger wrapped in lettuce... if they used that burger in other sandwiches, I would go there everytime
#76 to #34 - anon (08/03/2013) [-]
maybe it's just the hardees where I work at but the place seems to be an expensive **** shack.
the place is filthy and it's common to find some nasty ass beatles under the sink or in other place around the dishes, not to mention the dishes are usually "washed" by spraying them for all of 5 seconds with water then scrubbing them down with a filthy sponge then soaking them in water and soap for about 1 minute.
If it were normal dishes that would be fine, but these grease covered things would take over a year in hot water to even be considered for use by a normal persons standards.
That being said the food looks ******* delicious....
#84 to #76 - vparrish (08/03/2013) [-]

For some reason mine changed names to the Red Burrito.... Their food was O.K., But their mini burgers made me sick for weeks and they have more grease on one burger then McDonalds does in an entire batch of fries.

They're both pretty small actually. I don't like either that much; they leave me feeling gross and unfulfilled. I'd much rather stay home and make my own burger. That way I can use real meat, make it as big as I want, and I actually know what I'm eating.

You're right. But in my country, making a hamburger yourself means more spending.

Let me explain:

4 Hamburger's bread (The cheaper is 1€)

6 Hamburger's meat (The last time it was 2€ or 3€ if I remember good)

Ketchup and Mostaza, last alot and is cheap (1,50€ 250 ml)

To make a hamburger , you have to spend alot. To make 6 hamburgers, you have to pay 5-6€. you have to pay electricity, and oil too.

That's why every time I go to mcdonalds, I buy 4 hamburgers of 1 € each. They're really cheap, and they satisfy me. And I don't have to make it.

At least in my country.
#190 to #53 - anon (08/03/2013) [-]

Considering the ones in the pictures take several hours to make so they look like that, (excluding photoshop time) , if you want to wait that long for a ******* burger go ahead. It's called "fast food", not "hold on while I rotate this slice of cheese 0.5 degrees so it looks perfect-food"

i've eaten whoppers in many countries and cities. no where have i seen a whopper look nearly as bad that one.
User avatar #23 to #4 - thenewnuggubler (08/03/2013) [-]
The first time I ever had a whopper, I got some spicy chipotle Whopper, and it looked even worse than the one in that picture. It was the size of a McDouble, and it had some ****** sauce on it that didn't have an ounce of flavor to it, let alone spice. The top bun was flattened and literally soaked through with the sauce. Normally, you get what you pay for, but that thing was nearly $5, and I could've bought a McDouble and gotten virtually the same thing, and even more filling, especially after the ****** day I'd had, losing all my food money at Cedar Point.
tl;dr Step your **** up, BK

I used to like them alot untill I went on my first trip to America. The hamburgers they serve there cant be compared to the stuff we get in sweden. It also made me think compleatly diffrent about what was important for a good burger.
