thats the reason why you see so many destroyed buildings after a storm/hurricane and ****...
look at the news, usually you still see a few houses standing. in most cases those are the few brick houses that were built in that area...

People are really ******* stupid.

"My wooden house keeps being blown away and torn to shreds by hurricanes whilst my neighbour's brick house stays intact."

"I should build another wooden house!"

Is it cheaper to buy a new wooden house every 2 years or buy 1 brick house that lasts forever?

You act like houses are destroyed by hurricanes every two years if they are built with wood. I lived in Florida for 16 years and the wooden house I lived in never was destroyed... Tornados are which destroy wooden houses (and steel buildings...), only serious hurricanes do. Which just so happens can launch a 2X4 into a steel wall. So please stop acting like you know what you are talking about. Not only that, but a brick house is actually less sturdy because one side of the house doesn't support the other side.

That can be seen as a negative and a positive.

It also means that one wall can be sent flying, whilst the rest remain standing instead of everything going up high.

you know how a hurricane works right? if a wall is gone, the wind goes through the house and launches the entire roof up.

Actually, the reason why they build so many houses outof cheaper materials is that even brick houses get severely damaged during a strong hurricane or tornado, so building a new, light house is way cheaper than repairig a brick house.

Yes, but culturally, Mexico is radically different from the US (and Canada). It just doesn't make sense to include them when talking about North America from a social, political, or cultural standpoint. For example, when somebody talks about Europe, they probably mean Western Europe. They mean the France, Italy, Germany, and the UK, not the Balkans or Estonia. It's the same thing for us. If we're talking about North American politics, we're talking about white people at the White House. If we need to talk about our brothers down South, we'll specify and say Latin or Central America. We're just so different it's best to assume that Mexico and the rest of Latin America isn't part of the discussion most of the time. It's a cultural map and it represents a lot of the culture each region has adopted. That's why the Middle East up there isn't just thrown into Asia, either.

Most likely because we don't want singers who perform near naked. Eurovision is about style and talent. not how good you are at twerking.

Casacada performed for Germany.
I figure the reason she lost was because she copied Sweden's winner from last year.
You will have heard Denmark's winner a few years back, abeit remixed; Wings of Love.

Lots of Eurovision songs break through the charts.

Oh, don't worry! We don't hold grudges because people have visited or lived in a place. It's just strictly an outlaw on trade between the two countries. It's because of the conflict between Cuban/American relations, and the Cuban Missile Crisis.
