Moot has confirmed that there was no rise in hits on 4chan during the summer, hence summer fags are the people who are normally there.

Or it could be that normal population of 4chan drops out during the summer as other people come on, and the two effects cancel each other out. I don't actually know anything on the subject, and I'm not taking a side. I'm just stating a possibility.

It's normal for a spider to eat flies. It's normal for a fly to flit around, but it's chaos to the fly when it's trapped and inevitably eaten.

How do we know if the fly perceives it as chaos? The fly is just a fly.
Chaos means it has no order. Just because the fly is eaten by a spider doesn't mean it's chaos, in fact that is the order. There is no chaos in this. You know what I mean?

Things that are "immoral" are not necessarily chaotic.
Nothing is chaotic about the spider fly situation.
Same thing goes for the dove that we find pleasant that also is a monster to worms thing.
Just because something eats another animal doesn't make it chaotic. This is literally saying that a pride of lions eating a wildebeest is chaotic for the wildebeest. No, that is the natural order. These animals aren't philosophers, and if they were they wouldn't agree with this Fly Chaos theory.

"Nothing is chaotic about the spider fly situation."
Nothing based on YOUR perspective. You see it as the natural order of things because you are observing the cycle from the outside and you possess the capacity to grasp complex, philosophical concepts such as "why must this happen" and "how could this happen" which help you come to terms with the event which unfolded. You see, nothing chaotic because your intelligence renders reason and closure to the ever-functioning world around you. The fly knows nothing more than what its survival instincts determine. The fly cannot reason and and it cannot come to terms with its own death which serve to feed nutrients to its predatory species. As far as the fly is concerned, anything threatening its survival is not part of the natural order of things thus chaotic. As far the spider is concerned, eating the fly facilitates survival thus normal.
You assume that chaos can only exist dependent on your observation. Just because you understand the "how's" and the "why's" and are capable of making sense of if all doesn't mean that chaos doesn't abide from the perspective of another.

I completely agree.
All I'm trying to convey is that all actions, despite the how and why, are natural and we are in no position to say whether it's chaotic or not based off a fly's perspective. It's all natural.
I cannot speak for the fly or the spider and neither can anyone else.
I can only speak as a human. And as a human like you we can determine that this isn't chaotic. Right?

Considering it is our conscious observation that even renders definition to anything in existence relative to our perspective, this is true for all things. Even the laws of physics and the infallibility of the mathematics which define them. We can say the fly is experiencing chaos from the fly's perspective but is it WE who even define the conditions which constitute chaos. It is also we who choose to recognize that the fly even HAS a perspective much less the definition of that perspective. If you really want to get complicated about it all, you can say every entity, function, event, and phenomenon with a defined existential value can only be as we perceive it because we perceive it.

But I'm getting off topic. By your logic, and the logic used above, things like chaos cannot exist without a conscious observer to define them. Like motion, no object can move in a spatial system unless a second object also exists in that same system to which the first object moves relative thereby defining not only distance, but speed and time.

To answer your question, I suppose it's all a matter of opinion and how you choose to define chaos. The fly's perspective is only as relevant as you make it. To say we are in no position to determine what chaos is and to say that it's all natural would be to render the very concept completely undefined therefore nonexistent. Nothing is chaos and from there, the argument could be made then that chaos and order are a yin-and-yang-type dichotomy where one cannot exist without the other because the one is defined as the ABSENCE of the other.

Understand?
sorry for the "tl;dr"

Of course I understand, I love this type of stuff. I am not trying to sound like I understand it all. But I'm trying to get there.
I read a book about a year ago that is quite interesting, well one book of many that has to do with this type of thought, it's called Self-Aware Universe. Very interesting, has a lot to do with quantum physics, you'd like it I think. It gets real technical but nothing you wouldn't be able to comprehend.

Okay you obviously have a terminal case of the willfully ignorant.

First as a man of science your assertion that this is the natural order is so stupid I can't even handle it, a fly doesn't WANT to get eaten neither does a wildebeest. The natural instinct is survival and in the case of this quote the natural instinct to survive is upset or thrown into CHAOS by the spider. The spider on the other hand is having a perfectly average day as this is how it survives, by eating the flesh of the fly. If you don't get that then not even god can't save you now.

The arrogance of your comment is staggering.
Calling me willfully ignorant in a polite discussion is rude and ridiculous.
I never said they wanted to get eaten. Nothing wants to die. But just because it does, does not make it chaos. The definition of chaos is complete disorder. Something being eaten is not disorder despite what said animal thinks.
Sorry for being such an idiot. Jackass.
