Weird.

Offered research pacts without asking for anything else, never asked for luxuries or strategics. He was a bro

I Haven't had a problem with the man until I recently started playing on 6 difficulty, in which case he didn't war me, and he also didn't even tech, but on turn 30 he moved about 10 warriors around my main city and juts took it in like two turns, so i get how you feel.

Literally. They would kill and rape anybody they wanted to if you didn't join them.
User avatar #69 to #51 - makegr (07/30/2013) [-]
Yup. People can say beautiful things from almost everybody, but the truth is that they killed and raped innocents, as many soldiers.

Alejandro Magno, for example, burned and killed a village because they stole his horse. He threatened them( "If you give MY horse I won't kill you, mother ******* ") , they sent the horse to him....But, he killed them all.

There are alot of stories like this. Hitler created alot of good things (Awesome infrastructure), but that does not mean he was a good guy
User avatar #87 to #69 - yuukoku (07/30/2013) [-]
Well, they did steal his horse. You could be executed for that up until the 20th century. And stealing a horse from one of the greatest leaders ever born is just stupid.

Speaking of which, Hitler was probably a more humane leader than people like Ghengas Khan or Alexander the Great. He didn't even kill as many people as Mao or Stalin. He's just remembered for the whole genocide thing which was horrible.
User avatar #172 to #87 - makegr (07/30/2013) [-]
Talking about Hitler, he did alot of good things for his country.

Volkswagen means“The Peoples Car” , created by Adolf Hitler.
Hitler wanted a small four seater car, with an air cooled and durable engine that would get 40 miles to the gallon, and could be bought for less than 1000 Marks (about $250.00). Ferdinand Porsche had already been in the design stages of an affordable small car years earlier, but had never been able to bring it into production. Between 1935 and 1937 Porsche built a total of 50 Volkswagen prototypes with the flat four air cooled engine designed by Franz Reimspeiss – a unit very similar to that used throughout the car’s production.

He wanted the best for the people, and affordable things. Good and cheap things.
User avatar #309 to #172 - yuukoku (07/30/2013) [-]
OOOoooh yeah. Everyone forgets about the good things. The Volkswagen was a major help to Germany's economy and then their warforce. I do think that he was brilliant and a huge help to his country, but after a while I think he set his sights on world domination, ethnic cleansing, etc. and that's what brought about his downfall.
User avatar #9 - whatareyouon (07/29/2013) [-]
that and he had the fastest / deadliest soldiers in the world at that time and he created the biggest empire the world has ever seen.

scary enough for the chinese to just go NOPE NOPE NOPE and make a huge wall just to keep him out

It was when he entered the middle east for the first time it was actually a caravan of 450 people the sultan killed them all except for a merchant, it was the Khwarezmid Empire Otar i think the city was called, he even diverted rivers to wipe the Sultan's birthplace off the map, The entire empire was literally erased, four million inhabitants reduced to mounds of skeletons
