I was expecting the mention of back to school blues to lead into a musical number. I was disappointed.

Not even that. I dropped out two years ago and I'm still unemployed.

Go get a GED or go to one of those ******** Everest college type places where you don't need a high school diploma. Or start your own business.

I dropped out 7 years ago, got a GED and went into the Marines, spent 4 years as a reservist and was done with it. Now I'm working on dropping my weight down to 180 to enlist in the National Guard because I've been unemployed for a year and my parents are ready to boot me out so I'll have to drop from college too since working as a part time janitor won't give me enough funds to give them rent money. I know how you feel.

Probably because you don't have a fake ID.
User avatar #5 to #4 - leglesslegolegolas (07/28/2013) [-]
What does that have to do with it?

It gets you a job apparently.

I'm pretty happy to be going back to school. Next year is my last year of high school.

I'm kind of that way too. I'll be a senior and I'm graduating early (at the end of first semester) but it sucks a big fat black cock that I still have to go back after summer.
It'll feel so ******* long because I'm expecting to graduate at the end of December, it'll just feel like that days are dragging on and on. Like a watched pot never boils expression.

I feel the same for the release of Grand Theft Auto V

I kind of know that feel, but I'm there for the whole year, and I go back in about 3 weeks or so.

Well, you get to go see friends and any teachers that you might like, so there's at least some good stuff coming out of it right?

Also, how come you're graduating so fast?

My school has a program where you write an essay to the school's principal clearly stating why you want to graduate early, what will you do after you are out, also have to state what you'll be doing, like college, job, or military. The thing is though, you need a required amount of credits to graduate, and certain classes. Most Seniors take 1 English class(1 per semester), 1 Civic/Economy class(1 per semester) and the rest is just whatever the **** they want to take.
I'll have 2 English classes first semester, and Civics + Economy class, and Web design is my final elective. Only 5 classes, because I was in a work-study program last year and I have two release hours during the school day. Which the release hours are in the morning so I wont have to wake up until 11:00 a.m.

Geez, that sounds incredibly awesome.

It'd be cool to have something like that at my school, but I don't think anyone would actually do it.

Anyway, have a nice semester.

not true, most GED's scores are set by the most recent graduating class (being last years WASL's ect) and so if you pass your GED, you're on par or smarter than the last years graduates.
User avatar #40 to #36 - missrainbowdash (07/28/2013) [-]
he probably meant better than a GED to employers, I agree though they probably are smarter.

I'm excited to go back to college. It's worth the $12k of debt a year to keep people from wondering why I'm still unemployed.
