UPS ******* rules. Delivers packages on time, you can get text messages/emails the night before the package is due giving you an estimated time of arrival, you can request a certain window of arrival(early morning, afternoon, etc), their offices are open at decent hours, workers are friendly(seriously, I think they have a no-asshole policy when hiring) and did I mention that they deliver on time? Regular Postal Service sucks, no wonder they're losing revenue.

I work at UPS and everything you just said does not apply to the one I work at.

Weird, my Nephew works at one. He said that they do does things now, hell, I've had some of that stuff done. It does require additional fees though(worth it, I like getting my **** as fast as possible).

I wouldn't doubt that yours is good . The one I work at just sucks. I think I work at the worst UPS in Canada.

Maybe it's a United States thing? Sorry(not a Canada joke) that your job sucks. You could request a transfer depending on your job(Knew a guy that moved to Tokyo because he asked).

Transfers can be a looooong process, but the management is required to be friendly. The union workers (loaders, unloaders, sorters, etc) aren't, and if you work in the hub, the management can get right up on you (just like any other job). It's a decent place to work, would be nice if we got discounts on shipping, lol. It really depends on the place, though. The more work there is, the better chance you're going to get an asshole talking to you. One of my coworkers worked in the steamboat springs hub here in colorado, said it was 100 times easier than the Denver hub I'm at. But I do prefer UPS over anyone else, just because I know how they work and I know how strict they are about package handling.

Nah, I just really hate the post office. And UPS delivers dirt bike parts on time.
