Vice Grip is actually a brand name, they are locking pliers.
#14 to #8 - wyattgc (07/25/2013) [-]
Just every mechanic and handyman knows them as vise grips.
User avatar #34 to #8 - articulate ONLINE (07/25/2013) [-]

User avatar #41 to #33 - egosumproxi (07/25/2013) [-]
Whether the anon was twofreegerbils or not, it was still a good reply because that's what lordvimless was actually doing. Needle nosed pliers are still pliers.
#43 to #41 - anon (07/25/2013) [-]
Except that vice grips are also pliers, locking pliers. So he wasn't wrong to point out that they are needle nose pliers as he is implying that there are other types of pliers i.e. locking pliers. Perhaps I'm reading too much into it though.
User avatar #52 to #43 - egosumproxi (07/25/2013) [-]
I think you might be.

they're our garage door locks. just clamp them on the door rail and use the real lock on the non-car door.

Clearly photoshopped, the "steerwheeling" is on the right side of the car! So obvious.
