Subway pickup

I 22 hours ago ft
So Subway has intoduced online ordering. You go online, choose
the location of the Store you want and then place your order. You
print out a receipt so when you go to the location you don' t have
to wait in line. Upon my arrival to the location I chose, the line was
past the counter and out the door, I Stood in line not realizing I had
ordered online. I : -: myself to the fining of the line while the 20
waitng customers told me couldn' t jump in fining of them,
Less than 2 minutes later I was walking out of the Store, Sup and
drink in hand, I passed by a man who stopped me and asked how
I' d completed my order so quickly and I responded wion "Do you
have ANY idea who I am?" and walked off.
Poor bastard will be for hours.

Without hesitating, the customer smiled warmly andsaid to the other customers. “May I have your attention please?” he began, his voice bellowing throughout the line. “We seem to have a customer outside of the line WHO DOES NOT KNOW WHO HE IS. If anyone can help him find his identity, please come to the end of the line.

The subway where I recently started working doesn't do online ordering, you have to dial the number and then do in-store pick up.

Which is a pain in the ass when we have fourty something people and their kids waiting on four of us and the manager to finish their orders.

(It's a tiny store located in a marketsquare )
#7 - firesky (07/24/2013) [-]
I can't help it, but I don't like Subway.

They are extremely expensive and I never was full after eating there.
User avatar #69 to #7 - theist (07/24/2013) [-]
>extremely expensive

$5-$10 for a footlong monster is expensive?

>never full after eating there

what are you 400lbs?
#114 to #69 - firesky (07/25/2013) [-]
I way 78kg (~170lb) but the last time i went to Subway I even was lighter with 72kg (~158lb)
A footlong starts at 6€ (5€ for the vegetarian one) where I live. That's 8$

For 2-3€ I can get either a box of noodles, a kebab or a bun with a schnitzel. After one of these I am full.

I'm a student, so that's a great price difference for me.
#112 to #69 - anon (07/25/2013) [-]
I can eat two footlongs and still want more. I'm athletic (~160 lb), not fat.
User avatar #92 to #7 - suiker (07/24/2013) [-]
15 cm is always too little, but a footlong usually does the trick for me, though it's indeed incredibly expensive
User avatar #94 to #7 - nighkey (07/24/2013) [-]
Ugh I agree. The stuff they show in ads are NOTHING- not even close, to what the actual product is like. You can barely see what is filling the bun no matter what you order.
#52 to #7 - anon (07/24/2013) [-]
"Extremely expensive"
5 dollars for a footlong sandwich, or $6.59 for a medium sized burger for a fast food chain.
Just... what?.
User avatar #76 to #52 - daryldixon (07/24/2013) [-]
They stopped 5 dollar footlongs where I live.
#96 to #76 - lordpancake (07/24/2013) [-]
They didnt here, but all the good stuff isnt 5 bucks anymore.
#68 to #52 - anon (07/24/2013) [-]
Last time I went there mate the footlong was like $11

#37 to #14 - anon (07/24/2013) [-]
A footlong only has about 800 calories. If you're an athletic male, you require over 3000 calories a day.
So no, Subway is not very filling to a good portion of the population.
#51 to #37 - rainbowdashuh (07/24/2013) [-]
A Footlong and a drink is easily 1000 calories which would be one meal in a 3000 calorie diet.
#111 to #51 - anon (07/25/2013) [-]
Most people don't eat breakfast,
I said over 3000, it's a minimum not a maximum, I probably ate over 4000 when I was on a sports team,
and 50 footlongs is multiple meals. Not everyone drinks soda, you can't just arbitrarily add on calories.
#113 to #111 - rainbowdashuh (07/25/2013) [-]
50 foot longs would be 40000 calories. Or 10 days of food according to your daily allowence.
#116 to #113 - anon (07/26/2013) [-]
That's not what I was saying. You arbitrarily added on 200 calories, so I arbitrarily added on 39200.
#115 to #14 - firesky (07/25/2013) [-]
With 170lb (78kg)
Yeah, I admit I put on a bit weight during my military service.

In a small town of 10 thousand people that has 3 fast food restaurants (McD, Subway, and Wendy's), each of them is backed up to lines of 30+ people, daily.
#98 to #91 - euthyphro (07/24/2013) [-]
I would put a Tim Horton's there so fast. I don't care if you live in the middle of the United States, I guarantee that the owner of that franchise will be an overnight millionaire.

I suggest opening one yourself in your town if you can. A small town like that probably has lots of people waking up early to commute to the city or something of the like, and that is something Tim's thrives on.

It's a simple coffee/donut shop with a variety of foods -- but famous for the first two stated.

I love working at subway, mainly because I work at night and its never packed. Every now and then we get platter orders or some chap buying food for his entire family but most of the time is as quiet as a morgue. Gives us a lot of time to talk and rub our wankers all over the bread. Although the talking gets old sometimes, especially since I work with mostly older Mexican ladies.
User avatar #42 to #18 - elcreepo (07/24/2013) [-]
