Marvel universe divine setting is kind of complicated. You have many gods like Asgardians and Olimpians. They are not immortal but they live for eons. Then you have abstracts like Galactus, Eternity, Chaos, Order, Death....Then you have space gods aka Celestrials - they are aliens but so powerfull that they can be called gods (one celestrial is more powerfull than all pantheons on Earth combined). On Earth you have no less then 3 different Hells....Then you have Elder gods that predate Gods and Demons....and on top of that you have Multiverse dieties like Living Tribunal....and on top of all that you have Christian God and angels and everything
...Random marvel gif.

Don't forget the Christain lore that is in place as well that are said to be exactly what the stories say. You also have the Nexus from Doctor Strange lore. The regular Multiverse. Comics became confusing as **** at some point.

Hey, above Living Tribunal? I thought that's where TOAA, aka Stan Lee sits on the Throne of Countless Stories. If you'd care to elaborate more on the hierarchy on the very top, that would be great.

It is bit shady...So many writers...I remember one story of ghost rider where one angel usurped trone in heaven (which was empty) and beceme ultimate divine creture (he was taken down by army of ghost riders) Canon i think says that .``One above all`` is ultimate god and creator of Marvel mutiverse ..he is Tribunals boss. I think that hierarchy goes something like One above all>Living tribunal>Abstracts>Celestrials>everyone else

It's blurred also with for example Big G and Celestials, whether they are at the same level, or not. Of course Bendis ***** this up by taking Void to biblical regions, I mean, how does this correspond with Ghost Rider? It's easier to stop at the Living Tribunal's level, and, to quote the comics "to whom he answers, none dare imagine".

Galactus should be THE most powerfull entity of universe...but all that hunger thing and Worf effect makes him hard to pin down.
What Bendis did to Sentry...was criminal.

Sentry is still one of my favourite characters easily, mainly because he's pissing off Thor fanboys. But then again, the original series was PERFECT. When Bendis took over, he made him just go full retard, not insane.
Still, such events like Chaos War tend to confuse matters even more. I mean, where the hell is Mikaboshi considering Oblivion, and so on...

Yeah, but he clearly doesn't fit between the high abstracts and so on. Imagine how powerful would Hercules become, and by what means? By blessing of the Elder God, whom even Celestials dwarf. Doesn't make much sense imo.

It's not nerdy. It's common knowledge.
