**** this ******* post. I have never met a beatles fan who is like that. And just for the sake of discussion, beatles is without a doubt the most influential band of all time. Whether you like them or not, they have helped shape a lot of the music you probably like.

Yep, "most influential ever".
Please spare us the ********, The Beatles were good (at least as far as the late songs go, the first ones are boy-band standard), but nothing of revolutionary.

Yep, no one was doing that, in the fifties and sixties.

Labeling them as "the most influential band of all time" means spitting on the graves of the black people who actually invented what you call rock n' roll.

They are the single most important band of all time. I'm not saying they created the grounds for all popular music since. But there is no single group that has had more influence than the beatles.
