It's great that about 2 points actually make some sense.

In my opinion, actually two were the only ones that didn't fit: the cars one, and the incredibles one (even if the Up's tecnology thing is not too convincent, I'll take it)

If you read the full article, it actually makes a lot of sense. This is mostly shortened for size. He even edits it when people raise concern about certain aspects or holes and elaborates what he believes to be the running theory. It's pretty convincing.

Well they do like to reference their various movies in their other movies. Whose to say this isn't actually a thing?
#267 to #28 - zaphodcoolfrood (07/15/2013) [-]
While primarily for kids, pixar movies have always held a certain appeal for adults as well and I would not put it past Pixar to have an over arcing storyline. Plus if you read the full article the evidence is much more compelling.

Also a good point, but I think with the effort they put into all their little easter eggs and what not if this all turned up true I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest.

I thought it was interesting, but at the same time I can't stand all the "movie/tv show explanations/theories" that tumblr tries to pass off as fact.

thats right...

Tangled and Brave were great ******* movies, along with quite many of their other movies, and no age target group may change that. I hope they continue to make such things
User avatar #183 to #99 - taylorknox (07/15/2013) [-]
Tangled? Pixar didn't make Tangled...
User avatar #184 to #183 - daentraya (07/15/2013) [-]
I think Pixar and Disney made Brave, and I kinda assumed that it was the same with Tangled. I don't really think about who makes the movies, to be honest, nor do i have the best of memory

Are you special or something? He wasn't hating on it in any way, shape, or form. And yet you somehow managed to take it like he did. I agree with what everything was said in this comment thread so far.

All of it.

Nah man my bad I meant read the whole article that the guy who came up with this theory wrote. It's really in depth. and it of course includes toy story. This post was just like a basic summation of it. I thought they linked to it in the description. But I was wrong.

User avatar #5 to #1 - flammablefetus (07/15/2013) [-]
Because people don't seem to like it, and to elaborate a bit on a simple note.

If Toy Story is mentioned in the first frame and was in the 14 most recent films, why wasn't it included?
User avatar #6 to #5 - improbablyyourdad (07/15/2013) [-]
Because they were child toys and really didn't do anything?
User avatar #7 to #6 - flammablefetus (07/15/2013) [-]
Talking child things that manipulated an entire garbage assembly line. Just because it wasn't as large scale as the other movies doesn't make it any less significant.

User avatar #9 to #7 - improbablyyourdad (07/15/2013) [-]
Welp this explained it better, buzz and woody just sat back and watched the world burn and it was the corporations that played a roll. "Toy Story 3. It’s stated that both corporations BNL (Buy-n-Large) and Allinol exacerbated this takeover by dominating both the market and eventually the government, leading to worldwide pollution that put humans at a disadvantage anyway. This goes into explaining the humanity-free Earths of both WALL-E and Cars. And it’s around this point that the highly evolved creatures from A Bug’s Life come into play, as their way of living very much mirrors of that of modern humanity, and there are references to the insects living longer lifespans."
User avatar #53 to #5 - dremnus (07/15/2013) [-]
This post is just a rough summary. Just yesterday I went through the whole theory and it fits toy story into the theory just fine. Sadly due to my habit of clearing my browser history on a nightly basis for reasons.
#277 to #5 - zaphodcoolfrood (07/15/2013) [-]
It actually is mentioned and the starting block of the whole thing. Read the whole article, it's much more detailed and convincing, and most of these holes are covered.
User avatar #13 to #5 - brrigg (07/15/2013) [-]
actually, op did a horse **** job of summarizing negroni's theory, if you actually read the actual pixar theory, everything makes sense.
